Between the Vittoria theatre and the Ostra town hall, it's worth stopping at the theatre's nice and welcoming café.

A very nice bar in the heart of Ostra's historic center, with a lovely interior and outdoor atmosphere. It's also ideal for watching sporting events; they have a TV downstairs and a big screen in the basement. The only small downside is that it's packed with young kids, which makes for a rather lively atmosphere; if you're a little older, you almost feel like an "outsider."

24/04/2026: Mouth-watering stockfish in a place that takes you back in time. A World Heritage Site!
12/04/2026: A spectacular experience! Sara, the waitress who speaks Spanish because she lived in Granada, was fantastic. She recommended the best traditional dishes of Ancona, and her frisante a la spina was delicious. Antonio (the manager, or perhaps the owner) was professional and charming. Beware! You could fall in love with him with just a handshake. 😍 I wanted to go back the next night, but it wasn't possible, which only makes me want to return even more, and I will. Every dish is exquisite traditional cuisine; the fish was practically alive! My colleague and I (we're truck and bus drivers and eat out a lot) thoroughly enjoyed it, and we highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates well-prepared, high-quality food. Bravo to everyone! An unforgettable evening. I will be back. Absolute quality. Kisses. Thank you so much.

06/06/2026: The service is average, but the portions are inadequate. The price, considering the size of the portions, isn't exactly cheap.
07/05/2026: I went for lunch with a friend and her children on May 1st. It's a wonderful place! It has a beautiful garden and lots of greenery all around, located in a quiet little valley. The restaurant is very charming, with many of their own products, such as honey, jams, and more. We had a truly delicious meal. The manager was extremely kind, and even in the hustle and bustle of starting service on a special and very busy day, he accommodated us with an excellent aperitif spritz to enjoy in the garden in the sun before lunch. We'll definitely be back.
