It's always a pleasure to eat at Bottega di Pinocchio, both on themed evenings (yesterday we had mussels) and à la carte. Over the years, I've always found excellent ingredients, great care in preparation.

Please note, I gave the ambiance a 3 even though it's clean and simple. The 3 is actually for the location. But it's definitely worth the effort.

The food is good, the table service isn't the best. In the past, it was definitely better when a girl was at the table. You can't just say you're annoyed just because you asked for a dish!

Excellent rustic osteria! I found this place while searching online for restaurants near the university campus. We were pleasantly surprised by the homemade first courses. I think they offer takeout. Good luck, and see you next time!

02/11/2025: Superb cuisine. Set menu, so check in advance. Mostly fish and seafood, but not always. The cuisine of the brand at its best. Friendly staff.

08/04/2026: Between the Vittoria theatre and the Ostra town hall, it's worth stopping at the theatre's nice and welcoming café.
18/01/2026: A very nice bar in the heart of Ostra's historic center, with a lovely interior and outdoor atmosphere. It's also ideal for watching sporting events; they have a TV downstairs and a big screen in the basement. The only small downside is that it's packed with young kids, which makes for a rather lively atmosphere; if you're a little older, you almost feel like an "outsider."
