A pleasant dinner for two. The food was good, with slightly high prices, but the quality justified it: overall, the value was good. Everything we ate was well-prepared. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A positive experience.

Simple cuisine, fresh dishes, simply prepared, all good and tasty. Only the fried food was a bit greasy, perhaps due to the oil content or another important factor forgotten or underestimated, but overall the food was good. Worth a visit.

Good quality food but better not getting there if you are "starving"... Cosy place well decorated though you might have some extra company with kind of tiny flies around the table (inside)... Not bad but something is missing to repeit again...

While passing through Viareggio, we found this place very charming. The food is good quality, served with taste and elegance. The price is reasonable. The staff is very friendly and professional.

Pizzeria Dal Ciaccia

08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here. This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well. I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types! Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.
31/10/2025: I went today after touring the Comics Fair, and I have to say the pizza I ate was truly excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

22/02/2026: ..more of a 70s/80s tavern than a restaurant..maybe better this way!...everything is very spartan..you eat traditional local food and everything is really good..even the price is honest.
25/01/2026: A true dive into the 70s past: they placed us in a small room away from the chaos. Simple dishes with authentic know-how! Top-notch, highly digestible fried food! Friendly, fast staff, and a more than fair price!
