..more of a 70s/80s tavern than a restaurant..maybe better this way!...everything is very spartan..you eat traditional local food and everything is really good..even the price is honest.

13/03/2026: We turned to CI & DI Food despite our in-house canteen, due to the unexpected absence of our cook. Once again, they proved extremely helpful and quick to respond to our urgent needs. This isn't the first time they've helped us, and each time they confirm their reliability. The expertise, professionalism, and quality of service were truly excellent. Congratulations and a big round of applause to the entire staff!
05/02/2026: The canteen service was much appreciated. The variety of dishes, the portions were adequate, and the food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

24/11/2025: This refuge is strategically located, easily accessible even for those not accustomed to extensive hiking, yet completely immersed in nature. From the refuge, you can quickly reach the Apennine ridge, where trails suitable for all levels begin. The service is friendly and welcoming, the food excellent, and barbecues are available in good weather. It's an ideal place for children. Check opening times or book through the Lucca CAI (also on their Facebook page).
