Nice place in the Brera neighborhood. Honestly, the appetizers didn't meet my expectations, especially the truffle tartare (flavorless meat) and the carpaccio (the latter is nothing more than a sort of bresaola/speck with a sauce). Milanese risotto, let's say, lacked a bit of flavor, while the meat was very good. The service was quite good. The price was average for the city, so high.

A truly rewarding experience: dishes crafted with meticulous attention to detail, impeccable flavors, and an attentive and friendly staff that contributes to an even more pleasant atmosphere. In a place so attentive to quality and aesthetics, I would also have expected bread to match the rest of the offerings. A small detail that, if improved, would make the experience simply perfect.

Ristorante del Capitano doesn't disappoint! The food, service, and atmosphere are worthy of a Triplet! 5 stars! Truly excellent meat and generous side dishes. The olive oil and bread served with it was delicious.

location molto accogliente servizio cortese e preparato carne decisamente di alto livello...siamo stati bene bevuto e mangiato in maniera soddisfacente non è economico ma tutto sommato umano.

Bellissimo ristorante, personale molto gentile e professionale. Il cibo è eccellente, ci sono stata già altre volte, è il mio ristorante preferito ogni volta che vado a Milano. Mitico il manager, sempre gentilissimo e premuroso, ci ha fatto sentire ospiti graditi e “coccolati”

14/10/2025: Everything was delicious! It would be even better if there were more menus with photos! The chef seemed busy by himself, but he worked quickly and made for a fun dinner time ^ ^
10/10/2025: My husband and I went two days in a row because we loved the food and the staff was very friendly. It's definitely a great place for lunch and dinner. We'll be back!
