If you're looking for an authentic culinary experience in the heart of Salento, the Blu Notte restaurant in Lecce is a must-visit.
What's immediately striking is the professionalism of the staff: an incredibly empathetic and knowledgeable team, capable of making you feel pampered from the first to the last moment with a warm yet never intrusive welcome. This attention to detail is also reflected in the impeccable cleanliness of the premises, which creates a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
The strong point remains the unbeatable value: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and intense flavors at absolutely fair prices for the quality of the offering. All this is complemented by an ideal location, perfect for enjoying a stroll among the beauties of Lecce's Baroque architecture immediately after your meal. A true gem that never disappoints!

Very elegant restaurant but we were disappointed by the food. Gracious service.
I had pasta with lobster which was quite nice. The sauce ofolive oil and cherry tomato was light and bright. The tail had been loosened from the shell but it was difficult to get at any other meaty bits as no special implements were provided nor finger bowls. I expect diners here are too elegant to wrestle with their shellfish. My companion had grilled swordfish which was dry. The steaks were very thin, less than a centimetre thick. That’s likely a management decision which makes the work of the kitchen staff near impossible.
We ordered two contorni. Grilled mixed vegetables were tough and dry for the most part. Partly the consequence of slicing courgettes and aubergines too thinly. Partly the decision to over-grill resulting in a good looking dish at the expense of tenderness. There was a bottle of olive provided that helped. No seasoning. The other dish of aubergine salad was tasty and well seasoned from capers but served stone cold straight from the fridge. It could have been improved by serving slightly chilled or at room temperature.

The Blu Notte restaurant in Lecce is a true gem nestled in the heart of the historic center. From the moment you enter, you're struck by the restaurant's architectural beauty: the characteristic Lecce stone vaults create an elegant yet extremely authentic setting, evoking the city's history.
What makes the experience truly special is the atmosphere: despite the refined dishes, you feel enveloped in a family warmth, almost as if you were a guest at a friend's home. It's the perfect place for those seeking a combination of the refinement of a gourmet dinner and the genuine hospitality typical of Salento. A must-visit for those who want to experience a magical evening within the walls of the "Florence of the South."

We went to a place in the heart of Lecce, on Via Mariano Brancaccio, a little restaurant highly recommended by friends. I took the opportunity to take my girlfriend there for Valentine's Day, and I can tell you we were pleasantly surprised by the gastronomic experience we had.
From the moment we entered, we were greeted warmly by the attentive staff, attentive to every detail.
After perusing the menu, we decided to order a burrata with capocollo to be placed in the center, and a tuna tartare and a salmon tartare, both paired with passion fruit, creating a truly delicious sweet and sour contrast.
Then on the menu, the linguine blunotte, the fried calamari, and the tiramisu did not go unnoticed; it's fair to say that everything met, if not exceeded, our expectations.
