Just steps from the historic church of San Rocco, in the heart of Locorotondo, lies Bina, a restaurant housed in an elegant 18th-century building that combines charm and family warmth. Bina's husband will welcome you: friendly, personable, and capable of making you feel immediately at home. The menu is a journey through typical Apulian cuisine, with dishes steeped in tradition. We started with Grandma Bina's meatballs and stuffed zucchini flowers: crispy fried, authentic flavors, and excellent ingredients. Nostalgia then led us to a fava bean puree with wild chicory and homemade bread wafers: creamy, enveloping, and worthy of applause. For our first courses, two dishes that truly thrilled us: burnt wheat strascinate with traditional donkey bracio ragù and semolina strascinate with pancetta, confit cherry tomatoes, and creamed zucchini on a yellow zucchini puree. Intense flavors that bring back childhood memories and our grandmothers' kitchens. To finish on a sweet note, an excellent chocolate salami. Fair price, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that will stay with us forever. We'll be back soon, eager to feel at home again.
