The atmosphere and setting were very intimate and pleasant. The service was super helpful and fast. We had three main courses, all of which looked beautiful, but were a bit more beautiful than tasty. Overall, a good experience. Ratings for the dishes are below the photos.
Best food ever! We got the full Milanese experience 👌🏻
Definitely book a table in advance — it’s an old, traditional restaurant with its loyal circle of regulars.
A big thanks to the team for letting us stay and enjoy your delicious food 🫶🏼

Extraordinary pizzeria restaurant. Excellent food. Wide selection. Salads. Rich appetizers. Delicious first courses. And above all, friendly waiters and a family-run business guarantee quality. Try it, but make sure to book.

We went for dinner tonight. I had risotto alla milanese, spectacular, and my husband had tagliatelle with ragu, delicious. For dessert, chocolate gelatin with cream, super tasty. Absolutely recommended. It was packed, and most of the customers were locals; it seems like a typical place, not for tourists. We loved it.

A charming restaurant in Milan, popular with locals. It's been run by the same family for 43 years. The headmistress, whom the staff call "Anne" (Mama), is still in charge. The tablecloths and napkins are clean and ironed; there are no paper napkin holders.
The dishes are prepared traditionally in Milan and served hot in a specific order.
We went in winter, so we had no trouble finding a table; however, it's apparently difficult to get a table without a reservation in summer.
The Caprese di Buffala is a simple-looking but excellent starter consisting of buffalo mozzarella cheese (with a slightly sharper, slightly burnt taste), tomatoes, basil, and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. It's served with bread.
We also tried the famous, traditional French onion soup. Made with coarsely chopped onions, sage, and butter in beef broth, the soup was fantastic. It's served with croutons and cheese on top.
The sliced veal was also excellent. The meat, seared on the outside with dried rosemary and black pepper, was juicy on the inside and served with extra virgin olive oil.
The mussel spaghetti was perfectly cooked in the mussel broth and served with parsley sprinkled over the opened mussels.
For dessert, the homemade tiramisu stood out, served with almond cookies and anise chips. It tasted simply perfect. We had it with espresso.
The regulars are middle-aged and older people from all parts of Milan. I also saw young people and couples with children. Their lamb chops and wide variety of risottos are also recommended.
They have a wide selection of pizzas as well. If you go in season, they also have a dish made with fresh artichoke leaves, typical of Milan.

It's all right. Inside was quite crammed and crowded, unfortunately. The food was okay but nothing special or amazing.

Bebel turned out to be the only restaurant in the area. It was recommended to us at the hotel, and we even made a reservation. There were a lot of people there. I liked the atmosphere, as did the service. But the food was terrible. It felt like it was in a cheap cafeteria, prepared in advance, then simply thrown together the ingredients and heated up in the microwave. The cod was okay. But the breaded meat with potatoes was the undoing. My stomach upset and I suffered all night after that dinner. For €100 for two, it's just too bad.
