Bati Bati In Carrara

Bati Bati is now an institution in Marina di Carrara; I think even the lifeguard in the back row knows it. The atmosphere is simple, no frills, no flex—and that's fine. They serve both pizza and a restaurant, and obviously, in the middle of August, this combo means the kitchen sometimes takes a breather... as it did for us. No dramas, it was the Ferragosto holiday after all. The penne with scampi? A caress for the soul, 100% comfort food vibes. I tried the pizzas quickly, and the one with zucchini flowers, in my opinion, had more to tell. The fried food took a bit too long to arrive, but when it arrived... it was good, average, the kind that won't change your life but will keep you company. In short: a solid 3.5, a place that tells a bit of the history of Marina di Carrara, still frozen in certain postcards of the past... but with that charm that makes you say "come on, I'll go back".

We ate really well, the meat was delicious, the pizza was good and the seafood first courses were also good... highly recommended 😉

Excellent food, fillet steak with grilled vegetables, steamed fish, and fried fish: all exceptional. Satisfied, worth repeating.

This place was recommended to us and they gave us very good advice. We had excellent and super abundant mixed fried food. Welcoming place and attentive staff, even to needs, such as air conditioning, for us who have a child. Very kind. Recommended

Lucky to be able to reserve a table for 5 people on a Saturday at 8pm. Too bad we had to wait almost an hour from ordering to when they brought us the food.

We went to this restaurant for dinner with friends, we tried the focaccia and the fillet and both were really very good. The focaccia was excellent, crispy and greasy to the right point and digested very well, the meat was also really excellent! Friendly, kind and fast service. Highly recommended!!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante a cena con amici abbiamo provato la focaccia e il filetto ed entrambi erano veramente molto buoni. La focaccia ottima, croccante e untina al punto giusto e digerita benissimo, la carne anche era veramente ottima! Buonissimo anche il dolce. Servizio cordiale, gentile e rapido. Super consigliato!!

Simple and informal atmosphere. Chosen because they have gluten-free pizzas. Thin and crispy pizzas. Tasty. Even the homemade tiramisu is good. Punctual service.
