Passing through Trieste with friends, we found this restaurant convinced by the good reviews. They have done nothing but confirm themselves. There were 5 of us. My girlfriend and I divided an appetizer, took a first course each and divided a second course. At the end of lunch we were packed and everything was really of excellent quality, very good, I even complimented it. The ham in the appetizer was exquisite, the pasta, in particular the gnocchi with goulash and bacon, were very tasty and finally the Ljubljanska... I was delighted: crunchy breading, filling with an intense flavor and also abundant I must say, accompanied with chips fries cut into rounds (not frozen) and a sauce. The only "negative" note was that the service wasn't very fast, but to make up for it they also offered us the last remaining tiramisu. Personally, if waiting a little means eating like this, the wait is more than worth it: quality requires attention. Quality - price: Excellent, highly recommended: taking an average and considering that we ate a lot of things (starter and first course or just the second course with side dish was enough) drinks + half starter + first course + half second course in the end the total is around 40 euros each, but you can easily stay about 30. For this quality, less would be impossible. Place: cute, spartan, but well kept. Service: apart from the timing, rightly not fast food-like, the staff were courteous, kind and helpful.

A place with attention to every detail in the center of Trieste, evocative. We stopped for a quick aperitif of his canapés. Unfortunately it is not open for dinner and we were not able to taste its cuisine, it certainly would have been worth it!

We found this small restaurant by chance and did not regret eating here. The place has a very unique atmosphere, adorable! The menu (which is only in Italian) is placed in front of you on a board leaning against a chair. 😂 At first we were shocked, then we had a good laugh and started using google translate. It's a shame that I only came once, because every single dish on the menu (which changes daily) deserves to be tasted. The mix of exquisite food, trattoria atmosphere and house wine that goes down on its own make you want to eat here at least once a week!
