Perfect place, you're immediately greeted by the unmistakable smell of incense and home cooking. A restaurant run by a mother and son. The mother in the dining room takes truly great care of the customers, serving us immediately and making us feel at ease. The son, even when we booked, gave the impression of being a truly kind and thoughtful man, which he proved to be during a chat after dinner. Delicious food and generous portions. I recommend coming very hungry. My girlfriend and I will definitely be back. Be patient when looking for parking, but it's worth it. Thanks again, Balafon ❤️

A truly honest place. We arrived without a reservation and were seated right away. Sciura Ada welcomed us warmly and recommended what to eat. We'll be back to try the other combinations!

We ate very well. Few dishes, but truly delicious! (We tried all the appetizers and several first courses.) For ginger lovers, the cocktail is a must-try! Good selection of beers too. The lady who served us was a true force of nature!

The dishes are few, but all excellent. The hostess, who appears brusque, is actually a lovely and very friendly person. Her son, the restaurant's chef, is not only excellent, but also a delightful person. Go try it—it's worth it!

Last night we had the pleasure of dining at a little corner of Africa in Milan, a restaurant that feels like home, offering authentic flavors and a very welcoming atmosphere. To start, we shared three appetizers: fried plantains, simply delicious, akra, and samosa. All three were exceptional! The menu offers you the option to build your own dish by choosing between rice or couscous, a flavorful sauce, and a protein or vegetable. I opted for steamed rice accompanied by Sospikandia, a delicious okra and vegetable sauce, and shrimp with bisque and tarragon. The curry and mafe I tried were equally rich and enveloping. Finally, the dessert with notes of coconut, ginger, and mango was the perfect ending! This restaurant is an experience I highly recommend to anyone seeking authentic flavors and an authentic atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will definitely be back!
