Bacaro del Sambuco In Milano

A pretty overpriced restaurant that is well located in the shopping district. They have a very nice garden sitting and food was good but not exceptional. We paid more than €100 for two mains, one side and two glasses of prosecco, which in my opinion, is pretty expensive by Milan standards. The prosecco was almost €13 per glass and they have a cover charge of €5 per pax, which seems high even for a restaurant.

We chose the restaurant as it was around the corner from our hotel. The food was delicious especially the Lemon and Red Pepper pasta. The Baked Beef Ribs really blew us away. It arrived looking extremely simple and plain (without any sauce) but the charred crust and the rendered fat made the perfect sauce on its own - genius! Marta our server was also very kind and friendly. Thanks for a lovely night.

The food is delicious but not the best. The environment is what counts! Higher price.
