The atmosphere is quaint and very welcoming, especially for those who like and appreciate old things (like me). The menu is very interesting. We ate well at reasonable prices... we'll be back! PS: The owner is very friendly.

Unique and inimitable! From the quality of the food to the service and the kindness and companionship of the owner and all the staff. The food is divine and always accompanied by great music. We've been there countless times and will return just as often.

Everything was good, it had been years since I had eaten fish so well done, well-balanced flavours, just the right amount of dishes to return and recommended for everyone, I will do excellent advertising. Thanks, nice evening!

This was a unique experience. You don't know where to look, there's so much old stuff to see. The waiters are friendly, but they also work very chaotically. They all serve every table. We were seated in a separate corner. After ordering fish dishes, which were very delicious, no one came to our table to ask for dessert or coffee. It was also very busy, so after a while we just got up to pay. We initially received the wrong bill, but it was eventually corrected.

A very special, perhaps unique, atmosphere (1970s TVs, a wall made of cassettes....) welcoming, kind owners. Triestine cuisine. I enjoyed the spaghetti alla Barcolana. I'll return.

12/08/2026: We chose to dine on traditional dishes and, "luckily," made a reservation at Osteria Marino. The service was fast, welcoming, and willing to listen and offer advice. We had Frico, bigoli, and caldarroste pasta for dinner. The atmosphere was quiet and well-organized. Excellent food. Recommended.
11/08/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Osteria da Marino. The food was delicious, the service professional and warm. A must-see in Trieste.

08/08/2026: Best desserts of our lives. You MUST try the panna cotta and the tiramisu (€6) here!! Service was really good, very sweet people. Fish pastas were delicious. Despite the busy road next door, the place was very nicely decorated with plants, making it feel more hidden. There are few tables outside, so I advise you to make a reservation. You can easily do this via their WhatsApp number.
08/08/2026: A really lovely, small, somewhat tucked-away, upmarket fish and seafood restaurant, although starters and pasta dishes with vegetables as a main course are available for vegetarians on request. The food is truly delicious; the drinks menu focuses mainly on wines, although even the house white and red wines pair well with the food. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is very pleasant, although some road noise from the nearby main road is a bit of a nuisance. Booking is advisable. Highly recommended for special evenings!
