Antica Trattoria Del Reno In Bologna

The road to get there is a bit unusual, passing through industrial plants, and you'll suspect you're in the wrong place. But the trattoria will immerse you in a parallel world. Protected and elegantly furnished, you'll forget the outside world. The meat is of the highest quality and cooked with care. But above all, the (young) staff is as kind and professional as ever. One of the most pleasant services I've ever experienced. Highly recommended.

Quality comes at a price, and I agree, but the trattoria was a place that catered to everyone. The culinary exploration this trattoria has embarked on is misnamed; it's a restaurant that aims very high and isn't for everyone. The quality is top-notch, but these days, perhaps it's better to seek a balance. Considering the location, too, it wasn't there. It's a shame because the staff are young and certainly motivated, but the half-hour wait to order really bothered me.

A wonderful experience! The dishes were all carefully prepared and truly delicious, from the tortellini to the meat, to the dessert. The Lambrusco was excellent, and the service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive waiter who made the evening even more enjoyable. A truly worthwhile restaurant, and one we'll definitely return to!

I'll start by saying that if you're craving top-quality meat, this is the place to be. The location is outside Bologna, so parking isn't a problem. It's a farmhouse essentially converted into a restaurant, in a very charming and successful way. We ordered a half-board appetizer with buffalo mozzarella, all strictly smoked on the grill. For the first course, I had gnocchetti and my partner had tortellini (both excellent; the tortellini are fantastic if you're craving something truly delicious, while the gnocchetti are fresher and lighter). Then came the highlight: the meat. We chose a 1.3kg Danish beef, which comes with grilled potatoes and cherry tomatoes, truly excellent; my partner could have finished it all by himself. To top it all off, there are two desserts: for him, a cream ice cream that I didn't have time to photograph, and for me, their "latte in piedi" (standing milk). The special thing is that even the desserts have a grilled aftertaste, and it fits perfectly. The only downside was that it was a Saturday night, and it was obviously very busy, so after the meat, there was a long wait for the dessert menu and the desserts, but that's to be expected. Of course, a place like this gets packed on a Saturday night, and during peak hours, service can be a bit slow. However, they were super kind and friendly, especially the guy who served us the meat. We'll definitely be back to try other cuts.

Everything was perfect. My only complaint is that it's not their fault, but the location. The nearby airport makes itself felt when dining outside. For romantic evenings or business dinners, I recommend requesting the indoor dining rooms.

We ate at this restaurant for the first time, located a bit outside the city center, toward the airport. The location isn't immediately obvious from the outside, but it's truly charming inside. There's a spacious patio where you can eat outside in the summer, and a variety of seating options. There's a wide selection of aged meats (not all available, depending on the season) and excellent quality ingredients. The desserts are also fabulous. We had a Bruna alpina, beef tartare, and two types of cheesecake. Everything was excellent!! We'll be back. The price varies based on what you order, but you pay for quality.

A good trattoria, especially for grilled meats, but not only. Good service, decent wine selection. The place could use a refresh. Reasonable price/quality ratio.

Eccellente, semplicemente eccellente. Ci sono stato diverse volte, sempre ottimo, ieri sera credo di avere mangiato come mai fatto in vita mia. Antipasti perfetti, bistecca superlativa, pane ottimo, contorni perfetti. Dico solo che dopo tutto ciò, invece che indugiare sul dolce, abbiamo preso ancora un antipasto. Grazie grazie grazie

Torno sempre volentieri in questo ristorante per mangiare della buona carne, antipasti primi e secondi non sono da meno. A rendere il tutto perfetto sono cordialità dei proprietari e buon vino.
