We arrived just as one of the twp sisters were mopping the kitchen floor at the end of the night at 21.40. They still agreed to serve our group of 4. We engaged the sisters in conversation, using my very basic Italian, and their somewhat better English, and though tired, they soon perked up and were smiling. They were also still attending to their other diners, but brought us our requested water, wine, and soft drinks ( plus complimentary breadsticks ) as soon as they were able, then the cute little olive oil-filled brioche 'bites'. Two of us chose one of the three vegetarian options available, and the other two went for a pork dish (with peaches!) The sauce in the aubergine pasta was very rich, but beautifully presented, as were the tomato salads with a generous portion of grated cheese on top. They don't normally add olives to this salad, but were kind enough to do so at my daughter's request.
Compliments to the girl's mother, whom I believe single-handedly creates food for their customers!

Dall'ultima volta, due anni fa, hanno giustamente cambiato il menu, con qualche piatto storico.
Sempre tutto molto buono comunque.
Sacrificato il tavolo rispetto alle dimensioni dei piatti, ma lo ritengo un dettaglio facilmente risolvibile
A costo di essere ripetitivo, bravissimi e bravissime continuate cosi

This small and inconspicuous restaurant is located in a side street near the church of San Giuseppe. They decorated the alley very nicely and created a nice ambience in the restaurant. They offer fine Italian cuisine, although in my opinion not always successful. They themselves describe their dishes as fantastic and have therefore named them after Snow White (gnocchi in cream sauce) or Puss in Boots. Which I personally find annoying. Because you first have to read the name and then the subtitle to understand what kind of dish it is. They maintain an amazingly good wine list. The restaurant is designed for multiple courses to be ordered. Which quickly adds up to money. We paid €81 for 1x gnocchi with cream sauce, 1x fillet of vitelol with almond sauce, 1x parmigiana with burrata, 2x bottles of water, 2x chinotto and 2x white wine glasses. I didn't like my fillet, I found it too fibrous. My wife very happy with her food. All in all it was a very nice evening.

You enter thinking it's a restaurant and instead you find yourself in an experience that goes much further.
The experimentation is accompanied by a profound knowledge of the ingredients and local tradition.
I can't think of a better starter than the others: well done!

An absolutely recommended Italian slow food cuisine. The restaurant was initially not very busy but the service and quality of the food were top. The menu was well explained to us and we were able to try local specialties. When we asked, we were even offered a pistachio pasta, even though it wasn't on the menu. An absolute recommendation.
