Amami In Milano

Very tasty pizza with generous portions and a fast, efficient service. All at a great price. Very popular for lunch with a lot of big offices nearby, so make sure to book a table in advance.

Lunch is always excellent. High quality and reasonably priced for the area. I'm not sure about dinner.

Of all the restaurants I visited during my two-week trip to Italy, this was the best. I researched other places through various means, including searches, introductions, and recommendations, but I went here simply because it was close to my accommodation. This place was the best. The sirloin steak was more affordable than the other steaks I had in Florence, yet it was even more delicious. Above all, the truffle-topped Amami pizza was a hit. I couldn't get the rich aroma and flavor of truffle from the 20-euro fried egg truffle I had at a famous restaurant in Rome, but this 16-euro pizza truly captured it. With such delicious food, I expected dessert to be equally delicious, so I ordered two desserts (which I don't usually order). This place was a cut above Rome's tiramisu and gelato! I ended up going back the next day. Haha. The ossobuco at Amami was even better than the 150-year-old restaurant I had at the Galleria Mall. The price was also slightly cheaper.

We were very pleased with both their pizzas and the service 🙃 Their five-cheese pizza was excellent.

We had dinner and drinks there in the evening. Great Christmas atmosphere, lovely ambiance. The outdoor seating area was comfortable enough to sit in without a jacket as it was covered and heated. The restaurant was very busy and had a great atmosphere. Much more pleasant and welcoming than those restaurants downtown. The service was fantastic! Very friendly and funny waiters. Apologies again for the misunderstanding 🤣 maybe the waiter will remember me haha. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Milan! Thank you!

Excellent thin and crispy pizza with excellent raw materials

First of all, the owner and staff have a uniquely Milanese, engaging kindness. The atmosphere is very charming and refined, suitable for any type of outing, whether for groups, couples, or families...tonight there was live jazz!!! The food is superb, using carefully selected, top-of-the-line ingredients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I'll definitely be back.

Tucked in a quiet side street of downtown Milan this cozy restaurant pizzeria serves some unique style pizza . It specializes it thin crispy pizza without yeast that results in a boat shaped less chewy but very flavorful pizza that highlights the toppings . We arrived with reservations which are recommended as the indoor dining location is fairly small . Greeted and taken to our table we started with two cocktails : aperol spritz and Negroni — both of which were well prepared. The appetizer for two people was the star of the show ! Gnocco Fritto is essentially a bread fried dumpling with an Italian style charcuterie board . The presentation was fantastic . Presented in two wooded box perfectly and delicately assembled prosciutto, salami , bresaola , coops and pecorino cheese with a side of honey . The dumpling style bread is warm and goes perfectly with the cheese and cold cuts. This appetizer alone takes the star of the night . Main course we split a pizza as they are fairly large . We chose the Nuvolotta Pizza because I wanted to try the Stracchino cheese . Well balanced almost cloud like texture that was light and enjoyable . San Giovanni prosciutto cotto adds just the right amount of salt . Couple glasses of red wine Chianti to accompany our main. Overall an excellent dinner with very attentive service and a cozy atmosphere. To end the evening we got some amaro of a brand I was unfamiliar with and it was the perfect ending. I will definitely be back here again
