Passing by Lake Garda, we asked Google's artificial intelligence where to eat the best tortellini in Valeggio, and the answer was: the best is Alla Borsa. There may be other restaurants in Valeggio that are better than this, but Alla Borsa is certainly a gem that's hard to match. A warm welcome, professional and speedy service, and an interesting menu rooted in local specialties. After our usual salad (fresh and plentiful), we chose salmon trout carpaccio and prosciutto crudo with (wonderful) homemade mustard as an appetizer. Both were excellent. And then, above all, the typical Valeggio tortellini, with a pasta so thin it's hard to understand how they stay together. After all, there's a tradition that has lasted generations. The Valpolicella Superiore and Custoza (by the glass, and a very generous portion at that) were excellent, and the price was fair, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and craftsmanship. Rightfully a finalist in the "Come eravamo" competition: the menu, the ambiance, the food, and the service remind you of lunches and dinners at a restaurant with mom, dad, grandparents, and uncles. And that's a great achievement! Delicious tortellini in broth, and don't miss the fun gelato! 🤣🤣🤣

A historic restaurant in Valeggio sul Mincio, top-notch quality in terms of both the venue, the staff, and the product that undoubtedly makes the place stand out: the tortellini, whose flavor mesmerizes every customer, leading them to try the different varieties. The pastry is so thin it's almost imperceptible, and the dough is enclosed within it that it's simply UNIQUE! We'll return every time we pass by. Excellent value for money.

The trio of first courses was top-notch, as always, and the dessert was exquisite. Service was a bit slow (at lunch), but the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely, just a little noisy.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto il trattamento e servizio dato dalla padrona del locale, una persona squisita e gentile.
Se desiderate assaporare degli ottimi tortellini, pasta fatta in casa, o dei piatti fuori carta, con prodotti freschi e di qualità, dovete assolutamente prenotare in questo ristorante storico.
