They only get better. Tops on our list of Lucca favorites. During another month in the city to learn Italian and establish a bit more of a foothold we dined here again and tried even more of Gabrielle's creations. Julia took wonderful care of us, making excellent suggestions including wine. The Asian-fusion character of several of the dishes will break up the Tuscan routine for you. Seafood-centric and imaginative. In a small but tastefully decorated dining room just a street off the Piazza Anfiteatro. This time the specials drew us. A wonderful duck ravioli appealed to the wife. A perfect-sized "salad" of polpo (octopus), mango, pomegranate, herbs, and other ingredients was a revelation. We've tried most of their desserts including a lemon tart but I found a favorite in a pear tortino on a base of salted caramel that knocked it out of the park. This is a must-go if you crave something other than the fiorentino, tordelli, or pizza that are offered aplenty in this lovely city.

For 21 it has 21 seats because 21 is the right number for the couple who run it. Refined dishes that are the summary of the culinary experiences they have had around the world. The one in Singapore was undoubtedly the most significant and you will also find it in the furnishings. This restaurant has truly enriched us, in the stomach and in the spirit 😉

A place where Italian culinary culture combines perfectly with oriental influences. Excellent welcome, really hospitable owners, and excellent quality/price ratio. Strongly recommended for a fish-based dinner that is different from the ordinary.

We had a wonderful dinner in this restaurant welcomed by Julia's smile! She and her husband run the place which seats 21 people. The fixed price menu proposal included a choice of two or three courses for an excellent quality price and satisfying our request not to overeat. We tasted their new oil, grilled scallops with porcini mushrooms, crispy sea bass on a ginger and carrot sauce, pappardelle with coconut milk, prawns, tuna and red curry in an explosion of exotic flavours, all taken care of down to the smallest detail. Lastly, the delicate lemon cream on a basket of phillo pastry and berries! In short, I don't know what more to ask for. In addition to the excellent cuisine, we spoke with Julia who told us their story as restaurateurs which we were fascinated by. Eating well, with very fresh and perfectly paired raw materials and making friends with them transformed this dinner into an experience that we will carry in our hearts and hope to return soon! In the meantime, I recommend everyone to take a pleasant break with them ❤️

We spent a nice Saturday evening with a couple of friends in this small, intimate and tastefully decorated restaurant. The food was excellent and enriched with interesting influences. The owners were very friendly and professional and looked after us carefully without being intrusive. We'll be back.

I went to this restaurant because I read that it does fusion cuisine, and I like to try new things when possible. I tried a tasting menu at 38 euros (starter, first course and second course excluding drinks) which was truly excellent with creative and light dishes which did not disappoint me in any way. We will be back soon to try the à la carte menu. I do not recommend the restaurant only to those looking for traditional flavors and balances, here you will find creative cuisine given by the work experiences that the chef and owner has had around the world.

Personal service. Menu based on fish. If you don’t want fish don’t go. Wine list lacks names of producers. This did not seem fitting with the level of the cuisine. We found our way nevertheless to a vermentino that struck the right chords. Fresh and a little bit “salin”. The 3 dishes on the menu degustation were excellent. Scallops with porcini mushrooms were seasonal. Tuna was impeccable. It’s a small space. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. The only bother was a VERY loud table of three people who, judging by their accents, hailed from North America and had little appreciation of the space of others around them. No wonder tourists are getting a bad name in Europe. Why can’t they feel their surroundings?

Restaurant situé dans le centre historique de lucques. Accueil sympathique de la gérante. Le voyage gustatif avec le menu dégustation à été réussit. Plats cuisinés avec des produits frais et de qualités. Nous avons même eu la chance d etre servit par le chef cuisinier. Je recommande ce restaurant de qualité.
