How lucky we were to stumble on this wonderful restaurant last night. The food and service was an awesome experience. For those that like seafood, I highly recommend this gem!

A very charming restaurant in the heart of Lucca, with limited seating and an intimate atmosphere suitable for couples and families. We ate seafood dishes with a very pleasant oriental touch, and the dessert was amazing. The quality and price were fair.
We enjoyed sitting at the owners' table, with whom we chatted for a while.
I recommend anyone passing through Lucca to come for dinner.

The occasion was a dinner. We ate very well. The lady who served us was very kind and helpful. The place is beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. The thing that pleasantly surprised me was the absence of kitchen smells in the room. Excellent experience.

Otto tavoli, solo ventuno posti, ambiente piccolo ma accogliente, Per 21 si trova accanto a Piazza dell’Anfiteatro ed è gestito da Julia in sala e Gabriele in cucina, tornato in Italia dopo una lunga esperienza all’estero. La Cucina è contemporanea e prevalentemente di mare e combina piatti tradizionali con abbinamenti originali come il branzino alla piastra con salsa di zenzero fresco che accompagna, con la sua dolcezza, la delicatezza del pesce. Meno riuscito lo spaghettone all’arrabbiata con astice perché il piccante copre il sapore delicato dell’astice, peraltro cotto alla perfezione. Buoni anche i pici con sugo di maiale marinato sette giorni nel vino rosso e lemongrass. Molto leggera e fresca la panna cotta al latte di cocco con fragole marinate nell’aceto balsamico. Carta dei vini non molto ampia ma con un buon rapporto qualità- prezzo. Da segnalare i menu’ degustazione di pesce al prezzo di 28 euro ( due portate) e 38 euro (tre portate)
