We've been wanting to go to Al Vecchio Forno for a while, and we finally made it during our short stay in Barletta. The location is elegant and welcoming. The entire staff was professional and friendly. We had one appetizer and two main courses, both very good and high-quality. The homemade desserts were also fabulous. We'll be back soon.

What can I say? If you come to Vecchio Forno, you can't help but be satisfied. We had a table for 13 and opted for the menu, which is truly extensive and of high quality. Our compliments to the truly neat and clean location, to Carmine, the young chef who delighted us with his dishes, to Angelo and the entire ownership, who do truly excellent work, and last but not least to Gianfranco, the well-trained, smiling, and always available waiter. Highly recommended. We will obviously be back!

First day in Barletta, this restaurant was recommended to me, and I have to say it was excellent. The staff and owners were super friendly, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. Thank you so much for our first evening 😊 Highly recommended!!!!

I dined at this restaurant with my family earlier this month. The atmosphere and service were truly impeccable. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. I recommend this restaurant if you're in Barletta!

Truly a wonderful discovery. We're starting with 5 stars for welcoming us at 2 pm when many say the kitchen is closed. The menu and the food (exquisite and original) deserve 5 stars, while the service (very kind and attentive) also deserves 5 stars. The price is more than fair, and it's a 5-star rating... so, how many stars are we at? I'm attaching a photo of the empty table... we ate everything 😋

Locale bello, curato, camerieri gentilissimi. Frequentato da molti turisti ma lontanissimo da essere un ristorante turistico. Materie prime freschissime, pesce fresco, crudi eccellenti, solo con gli antipasti si può essere più che soddisfatti e sazi...ci si sente coccolati. Cena piacevolissima. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

24/08/2025: Exaggerated menus, plentiful food even for gourmets, exceptional quality, and extremely friendly staff… finally, excellent value for money. We just left and we all left feeling satisfied.
17/08/2025: Simply fantastic experience! It's not the first time at this restaurant and I must say that every time is a pleasant confirmation. Very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful staff, in addition to the owner and the head waiter/chef who are always ready to satisfy customer requests! Hot and cold appetizers of seafood and meat typical of our Puglia that you can see in the photos, speak for themselves! Hot bruschetta! Made to order! Raw seafood, very clean and portions are just right. For the rest, generous portions and high quality. The only flaw is no fried food, but I think that's the strong point: there's no point in covering up the flavor of fresh fish with fried food! A grilled fish and octopus, cuttlefish and shrimp is 100,000 times better! The meat alternative is also excellent! Really good fresh pasta with shellfish! A nice portion of fruit and everything at the right price without going overboard! Excellent value for money. From appetizer to dessert! Very hot and crispy Sporcamuss! The only problem: reservations are a bit long, they're always fully booked! We waited 3 months, but it was worth it! And we've already rebooked! It has several air-conditioned rooms, so it's a great place to stay! Highly recommended! Kudos to all the staff.
