Al Porto In Moniga del garda

We decided to have lunch here because it always looks busy—usually a good sign. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The location is beautiful, with a view and a lovely setting. But that was also the best part of the experience. The windbreaks were covered in dead mosquitoes, which didn't feel fresh upon arrival. The staff seemed disinterested and spoke surprisingly poor English for such a touristy spot. The steak was well-done despite us asking for medium, the pasta was bland, and the salad was subpar: dry lettuce leaves, a few loose ingredients on top, pitted olives, and hardly any chicken. When we asked for the dessert menu, it was forgotten. Ten minutes later, it was handed to us without a word or apology. Moreover, the price-quality ratio is not balanced. The prices are high for what you get, and there's a 10% service charge on top. In short: a nice place, but a shame about the food and service. There are plenty of better alternatives in the area.

A restaurant with an unusual interpretation of Italian cuisine. You can try very interesting and new pasta flavors in this establishment. Also, there is ice cream. The location and view of the restaurant are amazing. A very beautiful place right on the shore of Lake Garda.

Found a very good dinner and a very kind waitress in front of the lake

A classic Brescian pizza, Pirlo with chips, peanuts, cucumbers, taralli, and chili peppers. Average, but with a truly beautiful lake view! (Unless the diesel ferry passes by... 😁)

Great burger, nice seating, and the food came quickly. All in all, we were satisfied!
