We ate in this place, an environment between the spartan and the old cellars of the past. The managers are helpful and tell you about the place and the reason for this very original place, inside a village with an important history. I recommend it, because the dishes they served us were delicious. Truly old-fashioned delights.

Quiet and very pleasant place. Dishes and flavors typical of the area and as per traditions, unfortunately increasingly rare.

The food was made entirely by them and very good, the staff were very kind and friendly, although the service was a bit affected by the small staff, we had a great time. The value for money is also very good.

Yesterday by chance we came across this nice place located in the center of Lanciano.
They welcomed us with a smile on their faces and a lot of courtesy.
The environment is rustic and very nice, I really liked the room with the open kitchen, where the cook prepared lunch for us.
The appetizer was very good and varied, the house wine was also good and the bruschetta entrees were made with bread made by them and accompanied by their excellent oil.
The welcome given to our children is also very nice (something not to be underestimated)
Price in line with the times.
What more can we say, we will definitely return since Abruzzo is our second home!

Heart and tradition are the two words that, in my opinion, best describe the tavern restaurant “A Vecchi Sapori”.
The heart of this place has a name, Lilli, a (super) Woman, of Venetian origins, cook and soul of the place, kind and friendly, capable of giving a unique experience, discovering traditional Abruzzo dishes.
The love with which he has dedicated himself to this work for 45 years shines through in every course.
He skillfully and quickly maneuvers at the stove, in the open kitchen located in the room, with exemplary organization and bursting energy, cooking every dish on the spot!
I highly recommend tasting the first courses (2,3 or 4 pastas of your choice from the menu).

Having come across it by chance, we enjoyed excellent quality and highly genuine food, with home-produced raw materials, all at reasonable prices and with friendly and kind staff, so much so that we decided to return.

Abbiamo deciso di visitare Lanciano dopo che una coppia di amici ci ha regalato un soggiorno in questa stupenda località. Trovandoci in centro città all'ora di pranzo abbiamo cercato un locale tipico e siamo rimasti colpiti dall'entrata della Taverna "Ai Vecchi Sapori".
Un locale caratteristico, con sala interna ed esterna.
Un menù ricco ben spiegato da chi ci ha accompagnato in questa esperienza.
Antipasto Rustico, due primi eccellenti e due dolci fatti in casa che ci hanno letteralmente rapito. Un tiramisù divino servito come non vedevo da tanto tempo. Semplice ed elegante.
Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, raccomando vivamente la taverna "Ai Vecchi Sapori" e se dovessimo tornare a Lanciano sicuramente ci torneremo a mangiare.
