Unexpected environment and service, I ended up in Ponza by chance and during my research I chose this restaurant which deserves a star for its quality and dishes, highly recommended!

Unforgettable experience, the welcome upon arrival was courteous. Once seated at the table the waiters are immediately ready to fulfill every request. An impeccable experience, the entrée a real gem. Then enjoy a sublime appetizer, the first courses delicious, as are the second courses. The dessert is exceptional.

The highlight of our stay in Ponza. Was there with my wife for our honeymoon. There are two Michelin restaurants on the island and this is one of them. Finally, I got to know what that category means. We ended up booking it through a recommendation of a local owner of a shop. Otherwise, we would have not bean able to reserve. It worked out well as they gave us a table in the highest room of the structure. View was stunning. Food was extremely delicious. Sea food lovers would be in paradise… but there are also options for people who eat other types of food. Price was over 100 euro per person but we both had a four course meal and a bottle of wine. Plus they also gave us an extra appetizer which we did not order but that’s part of their approach to all their guests I assume. Service was immaculate - kind, friendly and smiling staff. Recommended 100% by us. Hope you will be lucky enough to squeeze and book. PS: we took a bunch of photos of the meals but with another phone so no pics here.

We chose this restaurant for last night's evening. There were 4 of us with 4 tasting menus. Incredible setting overlooking the sea with an enchanting view. Very attentive service; what you expect from a starred restaurant. Special mention for a girl who served us, super cute and very kind. Tasting menu from €95 with drinks obviously excluded: entrees, 2 starters, 2 first courses, 1 second course and dessert. The snapper tortelli with tomato sauce were incredible, but no less so were the cuttlefish and swordfish with friggitelli. After a small inconvenience with our booking they effectively managed to make us have an unforgettable evening. My sainthonoré dessert with cucumber, mint and lime is delicious, a light and efficient dessert after a very important dinner. The very last thing was that we were not served pre-desserts and small pastries (but that's actually nonsense). The bill was adequate, considering the tasting menu, 2 bottles of wine and two coffees. We were guests on Tuesday 23 July in this splendid reality on the island of Ponza. There were 3 of us and we took the tasting menu, strictly based on fish. It was a great experience. Thank you for your courtesy and hospitality.

Dopo una splendida giornata in barca in quest’isola meravigliosa abbiamo deciso di cenare in questa location magnifica, accarezzati dal rumore del mare e con la spensieratezza e la tranquillità che un momento così importante come la cena dovrebbe avere. Premetto che recensire una stella Michelin è cosa assai arguta, ma serve a tutti e serve soprattutto a loro. Arriviamo alla cena: Personale super disponibile, accomodante e che rendono l’esperienza un bel mix tra informale e sofisticato. Abbiamo optato per menu degustazione (95€ a persona) come sempre facciamo in ristoranti Michelin per assaggiare tutte le scelte degli chef. Un ottimo antipasto di seppia in doppia cottura da provare assolutamente. 2 primi assolutamente consigliati tortelli di dentice con una salsa di pomodoro fredda (gazpacho) veramente ottimi. Ma un plauso va fatto assolutamente per i fusilli i con scampo in doppia cottura DIVINI. Ultimo ma non ultimo….sua maestà : LA FORESTA NERA, il dolce in esplosione che ci ha accompagnato alla fine della cena e alla piacevole passeggiata nelle stradine dell’isola. Conto totale 265€ (Nota negativa una coca cola 8€ un po’ troppo). Data della visita: luglio 2024
