I recommend this location: the location of the restaurant is suggestive and characteristic, excellent food, excellent and courteous service. Every customer is welcomed with a smile. Scenography and furnishings that go well with the room created from an old water collection tank. A stop not to be missed when visiting Matera.

Wonderful tourist experience in this wonderful place! Excellent service from friendly and smiling staff despite the busy evening of December 31st. Matera is a splendid city and the 19th hole is equally fantastic! To be recommended!

Lovely! Stopped in for a pizza for myself and take away for my family staying down the road at the locanda hotel as they got a little tired out from all the stairs. They were very accommodating with the takeout request as I dined in with my pizza and wine. Got some sandwiches and other things to go and they were all great as well!

Very nice place, food ok, service to be improved (it's okay that they were full anyway), wine list non-existent (a shame), but the prices are very honest.

As soon as we entered we were captured and intrigued by the smells... entirely carved into the rock... the natural stone and the warmth of the lights accompany us into small rooms which on various floors connected by stairs have been used as a restaurant and pizzeria... with annexes private and an ancient natural stone cistern.. the food was excellent as were the typical dishes.. the owner "Francesco" was very friendly and courteous and delighted and entertained us.. a great experience...

20/01/2025: The best pizza in Matera!!! the truffle one is an explosion of flavors that are well balanced and balanced with each other but like all their pizzas, the cleanliness of the place is top notch and the owners are polite and always available.
17/12/2024: Tasty. Always a new pizza of the month. There is always a line on Friday and Saturday, please order in advance.
