18/04/2026: I highly recommend this place because it's truly unique. We stopped by for lunch by chance, with no expectations. We ate wonderfully; the first and second courses were plentiful, delicious, and of high quality. The place is delightful. It felt like home. Finally, I'd like to highlight the professionalism, kindness, and friendliness of the staff. I accidentally left my purse on the chair and only realized it was there two hours after arriving in Milan. I immediately contacted the restaurant, who immediately reassured me that they had it in their care. Desirè was kind enough to arrange everything to have it shipped to my home. It's not often you find such kind and polite people. Thank you so much to all the staff for their hospitality and help. We'll be back very soon.

14/04/2026: We spotted this small town trattoria on Google Maps. I called and, when making a reservation, asked if they had gluten-free options. The answer was terse and concise: "Yes." Upon arrival, we noticed the bathroom outside (just like in the '60s) and the trattoria's entrance had old doors and greasy handles, while the dining room was the same. Well, after the waitress listed the menu verbally (they don't have a paper menu, just like in the '60s), we ordered gluten-free pasta, and a minute later the waitress returned to say they were out of gluten-free pasta (you shouldn't check how much they saw when they said "yes" on the phone, do you?). Forced to order a second course, we ordered a tagliata and two small vegetables (which wasn't tagliata, but a thin slice of steak cut into pieces), a paltry portion barely enough for a child to eat. We went to the register, where they offered Satispay, but my phone had no reception. I politely asked, "Do you have the password for the Wi-Fi?" The owner's annoyed and disgruntled response, as if we didn't want to pay, was: "Yes, but it's too long." So, to save her too much trouble, we paid by debit card. She's probably not interested in new customers and is content with their "short trip." In any case, as far as we're concerned, NEVER AGAIN.
