Then I asked for the dough to be made with soft sourdough starter...but instead...
03/07/2025: Very nice place, huge garden, friendly staff.
Only note, I would accompany the second courses with slightly more abundant side dishes, I found them very poor.

20/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience at this trattoria was decidedly disappointing, especially due to the lack of attention given to a guest with celiac disease. Despite repeatedly stressing the need to avoid any contamination, we were served a dish with crostini. When we asked to separate the gluten-free dishes, we were simply told to "take the slices furthest from the crostini," a response that reveals a worrying lack of awareness on the subject.
The most serious mix-up occurred with the dessert: we had ordered a gluten-free cake well in advance, but not only were we not informed of any problems with the pastry shop where the gluten-free cake had not been delivered, but the waitress also assured us that the gluten-containing cake served was suitable, when in fact it clearly contained sponge cake.
The situation was made even more unpleasant by the staff's lack of responsibility. Fortunately, we are very scrupulous in checking what is served, but the episode highlighted a total lack of competence and attention on the part of the restaurant, which leads us to strongly advise against it.

11/03/2025: It always remains my favorite place.
The environment is suffused and enriched by constantly changing works of art.
For me it's also wonderful to eat at the counter. I have to tell the truth: I always take the same things every time because I like them too much!
The sangria is really very good, fresh, and the foam on top makes it different and original compared to all the sangrias I've tried so far. I usually share the dish with shrimp, rice and vegetables. You can compose your own burrito with the various sauces and condiments made available. The rice is truly excellent.
Also great with desserts! I recommend the half sphere of white chocolate, pistachio and raspberry heart.
Not to mention the chest of biscuits they bring you with your coffee!
Always excellent, the standard never drops.

05/07/2025: Ordered a two-flavor pizza, so big it looked like a joke, excellent ingredients, super digestible and well cooked. We ate it in the outside garden, very welcoming. If we pass through Marostica we will definitely come back, super pizza seriously! 👍🏻 keep it up 😍

Sono stata con un gruppo e siamo stati accolto molto bene e ben sistemati
Il pranzo è stato superbo : cibo ottimo e ben preparato.
Il locale si affaccia in una bellissima vallata e questo è stato molto apprezzato dai miei commensali
Sicuramente lo consiglio.

Even though I work in Marostica and it's just a stone's throw away, I don't think I'll be back.
17/06/2025: A delicious black coffee for €1.20, and a cappuccino to go for €1.70. A lovely garden terrace and lovely waitresses. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

22/05/2025: I consider this the beating heart of Marostica's old town...you can have a lighter lunch but its perfect for breakfast...they have many pastries and sweets to choose from; It gets busy in the morning for a reason. Lovely people. (There is another one in Breganze and I believe Vicenza)
15/05/2025: I'm not a regular but I've been coming here every now and then for years. Unfortunately yesterday wasn't a good experience.
I bought a packet of biscuits (about 13) without the price and then discovered that they cost 8 euros. I would have preferred to know the price.
Then I asked for a little bag of puff pastry with vegetables, trusting what they were serving me, to find a fried crescent with mozzarella and tomato at home (honestly I don't know exactly what was inside but it wasn't even specified on the label).

20/04/2025: The Albergo Due Mori in Marostica is a truly apt choice, especially due to its very central location, perfect for visiting the village on foot. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, always ready to welcome with a smile. The breakfast is excellent, varied and plentiful. The rooms, although not modern, are carefully cleaned and the bed is very comfortable. A plus is the private parking: the entrance is a bit narrow, but very convenient to have in the centre. A pleasant stay, with good value for money.

20/07/2025: Great atmosphere, great playlist, carefully prepared dishes, and excellent breakfasts. The main problems are two: a cold daytime waitress, to say the least, and opening hours that often don't match those advertised.
09/07/2025: I went here for an aperitif. The food was excellent, from the fried fish (for two), to the porchetta focaccia and the tomato bruschetta. The staff were very kind and helpful, the restrooms were clean and fragrant, the atmosphere was summery and welcoming, the desserts and coffee were delicious. I'd like to emphasize once again the kindness of the two young men who served us, who were smiling and friendly.
The prices are very reasonable, so the value for money is more than excellent.
We'll be back if we have the chance.

05/05/2025: Light, tasty and excellent quality pizza. I finally found a pizzeria that created a very light dough without making digestion difficult. Trained and above all punctual staff! Well done
