12/01/2026: We went there yesterday for the first time... We arrived without a reservation, and even though the place was busy, we were lucky enough to find a free table. The girl who served us was very kind; she immediately informed us that we would have to wait perhaps more than half an hour for the pizzas, so she suggested we opt for the kitchen. We still preferred to order pizzas, and during the wait, she made sure to come to the table frequently and then let us know that the pizzas were on their way. In reality, we didn't even have to wait that long, and in any case, it would have been worth it! We had a Montanara and a Salmone e Lime... DELICIOUS! Both the dough and the ingredients were excellent! And the service was excellent! It was a pleasure meeting you, and we'll definitely be back. The only slightly unpleasant thing was that our clothes and jackets were soaked in the smell of the kitchen. I don't know what's causing it, but it doesn't happen in all places, so it would be advisable to try to find a solution. For everything else, my compliments again! Well done 👏🏼

01/02/2026: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't the best. We were seated on the lower floor, which, compared to the upper floor, was decidedly colder and less comfortable. As soon as we sat down, we ordered, but we immediately noticed that the glasses and cutlery were dirty, so much so that we had to ask the waiters to replace them, something that shouldn't happen in a place like this. The pizza, overall, was good but not excellent, with a rather strange, sweetish aftertaste that didn't entirely convince us. The ambiance also left much to be desired: the lower room was poorly furnished and cluttered, with different types of chairs and tables that made the overall impression confusing. Furthermore, our table was located directly in front of the bathroom door, which was often left open, causing a decidedly unpleasant sewer smell to escape. Overall, an experience that could have been better with more attention to detail, cleanliness, and spatial management.

24/01/2026: I can't give it 10 stars, otherwise I would have. It was my first time here... well, what can I say... my new favorite pizzeria with the "red shrimp" pizza. An explosion of flavors between shrimp, stracciatella, pepper, and mango... how did such an extraordinary combination come about? I left feeling dissatisfied, because I would have eaten another, but it didn't seem right... at the first bite, I really had no words to describe it all. Please don't ever take it away, I'll only come back for this pizza.

09/12/2025: This American-themed sandwich shop in the center of Villafranca boasts numerous movie posters and album covers from famous stars and stripes. The menu offers a wide selection, including cold dishes, platters, grilled meats, side dishes, straccetteria, new dishes of the month, burgers, extras, Tex-Mex, speedy food, fried foods, pasta dishes, a children's menu, and desserts. I ordered a burger that piqued my interest, both for its color and the meat used: a piggy bun with natural red bread, a tastasal burger, grilled peppers, onions, and Walle's sauce. For a Veronese, tastasal is sacred and immediately brings to mind risotto, but I must say that the combination with this sandwich, grilled peppers, and onions is truly perfect. The potato and speck rosti and the red velvet cake are also delicious. The staff are welcoming and orders are quickly fulfilled. The place is spacious and also suitable for birthdays and other special occasions.

07/01/2026: Civico 2 is, by far, the best pizza I've ever eaten! The fragrance of the dough alone would be enough to make up for the pleasure. We've been coming here in Villafranca for 7 or 8 years now, and we've always been greeted with kindness, friendliness, and expertise by Maurizio, the manager, and his team—all young and very polite. Prices are reasonable; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

13/12/2025: Very small pizzeria in Villafranca di Verona. The service was quite disappointing: they made the wrong pizza and didn't even apologize, rummaging around to see if they'd actually misunderstood the order or if it was the pizza chef. In the end, it arrived with, in my opinion, a major cooking error: the bottom was as hard as a shoe sole. The rest, however, makes it enjoyable. The prices are questionable: we're in the historic center of Villafranca, but a ham and mushrooms menu for around €11 is out of the question. Furthermore, the €2.50 cover charge, which consists of a packet of breadsticks, is quite unfair, again in my opinion, for the service offered. If you don't choose a "classic" pizza, prices range from €12 and up. In my opinion, excessive for the quality offered. - Response to the manager: Congratulations, you're a professional and I didn't question that. I suggest you consult a public relations expert: there are a little more than two negative reviews. I invite you to go and count them. As for the pizzerias I frequent, it's none of your business. I haven't questioned the quality of the ingredients, but rather the preparation method and the rudeness of the staff. I hope your pizzeria always has a crowd of people who genuinely enjoy this type of pizza. Thank you again for confirming my decision not to return. Good luck with everything.

18/01/2026: You walk into the Civico2 pizzeria, on the ground floor of a residential building in the province of Verona, read the menu, and you feel like you've landed in downtown Milan: pizzas cost €14-15, bottled beers cost €7.50, ingredients described in elaborate capital letters to convey exclusivity (Prosciutto di Coscia—what else is it supposed to be?), a €2.50 cover charge with a breakfast placemat, breadsticks, and a paper napkin (tablecloths are out of fashion). The paintings on the walls speak of "water and flour, the ingredients of pasta and pizza, the foundation of our culture," but here nothing of our culture remains: a worker has to work two hours to pay a fortune for a perfectly ordinary pizza in this place, here the food is transformed into a narrative to make the cash register ring—losing sight of quality. The taste of this product of water, flour, and various ingredients seemed tempting from the photos I saw online, but it turned out to be disappointing: the crust of my pizza was inexplicably non-classic (nowhere near as such on the menu), with this strange structure that left the dough still raw inside. Digestion wasn't optimal, and I was extremely thirsty when I woke up. My friends called it "rubbish," but I'll just say that, considering the price, it was a huge disappointment.
