30/11/2024: The place is very nice, the manager nice and friendly. The food was really excellent, without exaggerating the price. The choice of wines focuses on local production, with excellent results judging from the Valpolicella bottles we chose. We will definitely return.

28/08/2024: Our 5 stars go to Teresa and her authenticity. He welcomed us and treated us very well, with attention and care towards our needs and those of our 3 children. We decided to stay here one night to break up the journey between Lake Como and South Tyrol. We were unable to use the restaurant because it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but we were pleasantly redirected to the Trattoria la Torre 200 meters away, still managed by the same owners of the inn. Simple breakfast but with fresh products and a wide choice of homemade cakes. The 9 rooms, as well as the restaurant and the 2 apartments, were created from an old oil mill from the 1700s. Our quadruple room, FAVAROL, is the perfect size for the spaces that a family of 5 requires. It has 2 double beds and plenty of space to turn around even with open luggage. What can I say, highly recommended!
18/08/2024: Really friendly, a real family vibe. The rooms are clean and pleasant, the surrounding hills are picturesque. Therese is so warm and hospitable. I really loved this place.
The restaurant was good, but there aren’t many vegetarian options.

14/08/2024: Great service, great food, great atmosphere, lovely staff. We stayed for five days and went there 3 times for dinner. Will definitely go back if we go back to Castagnè.
19/07/2024: It is the perfect little local pizza place! Great variety of pizza toppings and very nice crust. Add a Spritz, beer or wine of your choice and it is a great simple and delicious dinner! Both pizza options with pistachios were amazing!

29/08/2024: Come scritto andare al Bacco d’oro e’ sempre una garanzia. Sia per la qualità del cibo che per il livello della cantina vini!! L’accoglienza è sempre unica e la loro terrazza esterna verso le colline di Soave è qualcosa di straordinario. Veramente sempre una bella esperienza.

19/11/2024: Ci siamo fermati a pranzo domenica e, che dire, personale di una gentilezza disarmante, cibo buono e prezzi onestissimi! Vi consiglio di prenotare o di armarvi di pazienza, che verrà sicuramente ben ripagata.
01/09/2024: The first thing that struck me negatively was that we were approached without a written menu (and therefore without knowing the prices) and with a verbal menu consisting of a choice between 3 first courses and 3 otherwise banal second courses (lasagne with tomato sauce or with 4 cheeses and tripe, second courses (sliced meat, steak and stewed rabbit), nothing typical. Oil on the tables without any labels. We had to ask for bread we didn't have the courage to ask for grated cheese. Finally (for 1 first course and 1 second course, 1/2 liter of bulk wine and 2 bottles of water and coffee) we paid around €33 each but no receipt.
A rather negative overall opinion also considering the distance from the city and the inconvenience of parking.

16/08/2023: Soggiornare qui è stato come vivere una favola!!! Abbiamo cenato una sola sera, ma dobbiamo fare i complimenti alla cucina!!! Bravissima la Signora Luisa, piatti ben preparati, con ottimi ingredienti e buonissimi!!! Ottimi anche i vino...Soave ed Amarone!!! Consigliatissimo!!!
