14/10/2025: Be careful if you want to pay there! There was a blonde, older woman with glasses who kept insisting you hadn't paid, even though we could show two statements and had therefore paid twice because the debit card (supposedly) wasn't working! It was a lot of hassle, and she finally had to admit it!!!!
Thanks for your quick response. We've been coming to you for several years, and it's always been great, but unfortunately, this gave us a very bad feeling, hence this reaction.
I'll spare you what the woman said next; I hope she learned from this as well.
06/10/2025: A real insider tip. Super delicious wines at affordable prices. Vino Bianco delle Arele is highly recommended.

28/01/2026: We stopped by for breakfast. It was late morning, around 11:30, so it wasn't the pastry shop's regular opening hours. We tried a typical local pastry, and it was really good. The pastry was soft and the fillings were excellent.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommended.

03/06/2026: Plenty of space, delicious food. Staff very disorganized. Often there are large time differences between dishes. We had to wait at least 25 minutes for the pizzas after the appetizer, but the mussels, for example, arrived immediately afterwards. Still delicious though!

24/09/2025: We stopped in for an aperitivo during a visit to Lazise. The place is located outside the city walls near Porta San Zeno. It has an outdoor terrace, beautiful decor, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they pay close attention to their customers. You can also eat in. They offer a variety of dishes, including platters of cured meats and cheeses, including local specialties, focaccia, burgers, fries, and more. Good value for money. I recommend it.

11/06/2026: Unfortunately, for an Italian restaurant, their pizza is a disaster. The Diavollo is a disaster. It's not very large, and there's still about 5-6 cm of crust left unfilled, dry, and burnt. The center, however, is practically a soggy dumpling. The dough is a disaster, and the toppings are weak. The second pizza is with tuna and red onion... Three small pieces of tuna, but a lot of onion... The dough is similar, the edges are dry, hard, and difficult to cut, and the center is doughy. Nothing special, really.
06/06/2026: For our starter, we had the trio of fish with octopus, smoked salmon, and calamari. It was very well prepared and tasted delicious.
Next, we had tuna steak and grilled calamari, served with roasted vegetables. Very tasty!
For dessert, we had tiramisu, which we would rate as rather average.
All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant.

07/10/2025: A not-so-large hotel near Lazise. Family-run by a very nice couple. Great pool.
28/09/2025: Absolutely perfect stay! The host, Fabio was extremely welcoming. The hotel and room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Excellent location for Movieland (10min walk). Lake Garda is not far away too. I did not want to leave but will be back soon. Also, the bus stop was handy too, it’s literally across the road from the hotel. Check the bus times on google though as not always accurate! Thank you to Fabio & team.

Very rude staff. We were repeatedly told to move our stroller because it was "blocking the way," even though we were on the outside, near the passage to the inner courtyard where no one ever passed, and the place was almost empty.
No good morning, no solution offered—just constant reminders. We left.
The bar next door (Porto Vecchio) was the complete opposite: excellent coffee, excellent pastries, and very welcoming, even with children.
We won't be returning.

The price-performance ratio is borderline. They charge an extra €6 for vegetables with the fish. Otherwise, I would have received the fish completely without any side dish. Oh well... I think €26 for fish plus a side dish would be fairer. Then there wouldn't be any surprises. The fish itself tasted great, by the way.

04/06/2026: Skip this place. Super-bad service, they don't know what they're doing, long wait times and mediocre pizzas. There are so many much more exciting places to go in Lazise.
04/06/2026: Good experience, the food was very good. Some servers, including the head waiter, weren't very friendly. When I asked what the house white wine was, I was told "a white wine."
Fortunately, other servers were very kind to make up for it. The view and setting are magnificent!

03/05/2026: Beautiful place, excellent food. Too bad it was crowded, the guys tried really hard (very good).
Unfortunately, there were some kids who started playing with Pespi, but luckily the guy stopped them (they were rude because they told the guy off).
Then a boy took the lighter for the kids' sweets (I can't believe there are people who don't say anything to their kids to educate them, because of them we waited 5 minutes longer).
Well done, guys.

23/05/2026: Absolutely the worst restaurant on the water. The only redeeming feature is the beautiful view of Lake Garda from the top, especially with the sunset in the evening. But that's where the positives end. The service is atrocious. I'm a waiter myself and know what it's like when things get busy. But what goes on here is simply outrageous. You get the feeling that nobody wants to work. We arrived around 5:45 pm. We managed to snag a nice spot in the sun, which was supposedly only free until 7:00 pm. That was fine. We just wanted to enjoy the view, have two Aperol Spritzes, and a Margherita pizza. And it was practically empty. Only four tables were occupied. At 6:15 pm, the waiter finally came, grinning, and when we asked why nothing had been done, the only answer was, "Shift change." Then, they opened the umbrella right in front of us, even though we had wanted to enjoy the sun. When we got up at 6:50 p.m. to leave because the pizza still hadn't arrived, it suddenly appeared out of nowhere. We didn't want the pizza anymore anyway. After all, the table was only free until 7:00 p.m. The waiter, who wanted to know what was going on, didn't apologize, just grinned. Sorry, guys, that was a complete disaster. We won't be visiting this pretentious restaurant again. I don't think the restaurant cares about the reviews. They get plenty of customers every year.
20/05/2026: So, for me, there won't be a second time. I found the menu unsatisfactory, and the price/performance ratio was also unbalanced.
A cover charge of €3.50 per person was added.
This wasn't stated on the menu.
Open wines weren't listed on the menu. However, they did have some when I asked. After ordering, a glass of wine arrived that couldn't possibly have contained 0.2 liters. There wasn't even a fill line.
The service was so inattentive and unfriendly that we felt uncomfortable. Don't expect a single waiter to say "please" or "enjoy your meal."
This place is a tourist trap.
Unfortunately, never again.
