05/01/2026: I stumbled upon this inn by chance on a very cold evening, and within a minute of entering, my blood was warming. I found the interior very homey, a dining room with a roaring fireplace that felt like a beautiful, well-appointed country house. I ate a delicious braised beef in Amarone, and my wife had perfectly cooked grilled tuna. I drank a delicious Ripasso, all accompanied by the very kind staff. Thank you.

The carniciero appetizer was generous and divine, with various carpaccios and crudités accompanied by sauces and a sublime Florentine steak. The price was fair. We spent €155 for an appetizer, a 1.2kg Florentine steak, two desserts, and a bottle of Montalcino red.

28/12/2025: I discovered this place a few years ago, and since then I've been going there 4-5 times a year. And every time, it's the same surprise as the first time! Excellent quality meat, cooked with unparalleled skill in the large fireplace that dominates the dining room. It's accompanied by generous and delicious side dishes. The lemon verbena grappa is a must! I gave it 5 stars, but if it were possible, I would have given it 10!

22/12/2025: If you eat meat, it's very good, but if you have allergies or are vegan, no alternatives are offered (like plain white rice). You leave hungry. On the phone, when the reservation was made and it was mentioned that there was a vegan person, the response was that people like that would be better off staying home because they are carnivores. I find it tasteless and inappropriate! We're in 2026, not 1518. Furthermore, we had asked for a second course to be brought with the first courses, but this was rudely answered, and we had to ask repeatedly. Negative personal experience!

The pizzas were great!!! It was a little difficult to cut with the knife, but if they brought a better knife it would be even better The white chocolate and berry panna cotta was the best dessert!!!! If you get there you must take this dessert!!! The other dessert we had was coffee mousse with papaya cream, just perfect!
