The food is good, and the service is good.
The dishes aren't overly sophisticated, homemade, but definitely tasty.
The pizza is thin and well-topped.

10/08/2026: The gnocchi with tuna were good, but the portions were meant for a baby, not an adult. The dessert, tiramisu, was awful. I spent 40 euros for one person, and I wasn't even full. I wouldn't recommend eating there; you get ripped off terribly for what you get.
06/08/2026: The food was delicious, although we had to wait quite a long time for one dish, a pizza, and the staff was very unfriendly, which ruined the experience a lot.

I had problems with the charging cable for my electric car, and the staff/owner were very helpful, calling around to the charging station company so we could get the cable back! Thank you!
03/06/2026: We had a pleasant stay on a Type C pitch during the June 2, 2026, long weekend.
The campsite is well-maintained, with shaded pitches, power, water, and drainage. Very clean restrooms. There's a well-stocked on-site market. The campsite also offers entertainment. There's a large playground with a soccer field and tennis court. The barbecue area was much appreciated. There's a free beach with a lifeguard.

Lovely people, warm welcome, even for our dogs.
The service and the food are simply fantastic...
Great rooms...
05/10/2025: The bathroom was a disaster, the rooms were unfortunately completely dilapidated and very small. The food had little to do with Italian cuisine. All in all, we wouldn't book this hotel again.

07/06/2026: How wonderful!!!! THE LEGENDARY CLUB SANDWICHES ARE BACK!!!! And not just one type!!! A new, authentic, simple menu, but with many options for a totally relaxing meal in a very refined, relaxing atmosphere, with extremely kind (and even more cheerful!) staff.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the price, absolutely excellent considering the location and service. (Club fare is around €12, and the same goes for salads and other cold dishes). We'll return every time we pass through Cavallino! Great job, guys ❤️👏🏻👏🏻

18/09/2025: I'm very disappointed. I didn't receive the exact food I ordered from the menu. Even though not only the appearance but also an ingredient was different, they tried to tell me it was what I ordered. I even showed them the menu, and it was clearly marked that it wasn't the same. Despite this, they tried to make me feel stupid and didn't give me what I actually ordered. Absolutely outrageous!

30/05/2026: Extremely unfriendly woman at the checkout, who treated you like you had to bring her something, outrageous prices for absolutely abysmal fast food quality! Dear fellow campers – just don't go there again – it's a rip-off 👎👎👎👎👎👎
-> The granita tastes terrible
-> The hot dog isn't worth €6.50 because of the awful sausage and the cheapest bun.
-> Fries cost €5 and ketchup and mayo are charged extra without even asking 👎
I also asked for two cups for our water. The nice lady simply ignored me several times.

I recommend changing glasses!
You can't see a glass (water glass) full of scratches and limescale marks (whitish glass). You might consider changing them every 1-2 months!

12/06/2026: The food is decent, sure nothing culinary, but really good for a large campsite! The spaghetti vongole and pizzas were great!
08/06/2026: We ate there twice and were disappointed both times.
First visit at lunchtime:
Ordered: Bruschetta and Caesar salad. Waiting time was about 35 minutes despite the restaurant being almost empty (only 3 tables occupied).
The bruschetta bread was so hard it was barely edible. The fitness salad only had 3 very small, dry pieces of chicken.
Second visit in the evening:
Ordered: 2 pizzas. This time the wait was 50 minutes!!! (even though only 2 tables ahead of us had ordered).
The pizza dough was so hard it was almost impossible to cut the pizza—a disgrace by Italian standards!
