06/04/2024: Very welcoming place that revives the glories of the old Treviso taverns, staff always present and very friendly, good food, note of merit for the creamed cod and for the prosecco that was recommended to us.

02/04/2024: Abbiamo prenotato quasi all’ultimo per 13 persona. Bisogna ammettere che è stata davvero una bella sorpresa. Abbiamo mangiato bene ed il servizio è stato eccellente.
Sicuramente un posto che merita di essere provato soprattutto per chi ama la carne.
27/03/2024: Cena aziendale a base di carne. Menù predefinito con contorno, piatto di carne e dolce. Tutto molto buono e prezzo ampiamente alla portata.

24/03/2024: Dicono di avere opzioni veg, però non dicono che vengono cucinate sulle stesse padelle dove preparano la carne.
Purtroppo ho trovato degli spiacevoli pezzettini di pancetta sulle mie uova strapazzate.
Quando l’ho fatto notare alla cameriera mi è stato detto che era impossibile, nonostante i pezzettini fossero proprio davanti a lei a vista sul piatto…

24/02/2024: Discovered the place by chance and it was a wonderful experience, really kind owner and employees, really excellent tea and even that pastry served together.
Great choice of teas too and the shop makes you want to buy lots of things.
21/02/2024: All perfect!! I've been there a few times already and I love it! Typical Japanese sweets and drinks that I only found here. The place is very nice even if small so I recommend going as a couple or at most 4 people.

22/04/2024: We had the opportunity to have dinner one weekend and lunch the following weekend, we can say we were satisfied with both meals.
For dinner we ordered two appetizers, the tuna and stracciatella tartare with toasted almonds and rocket, a little oily but good and the fried burrata on asparagus and anchovy cream, also good but obviously heavy so I don't recommend it to anyone who eats not much if you then want to order something else.
We continued by ordering bronze-drawn bavette with clams and bottarga, very delicious, and Hesperia orecchiette with tomato sauce, stracciatella, dried tomatoes and stewed bacon, very good. The only flaw is that the appetizer arrived earlier than the wine we had immediately ordered and which we had to point out, thanks to the fact that in our opinion the restaurant was still pretty full.
The following weekend we had lunch and ordered fusilloni cacio e pepe with tuna tartare, not recommended for those who don't like strong flavors but very good, and cavatelli with shellfish.
As a second course we shared a mixed fried squid, scampi, prawns and vegetables. As for the vegetables, there was nothing except some baby carrots, while the squid was more present but it was tough.
Overall a restaurant that deserves to be discovered especially as regards the first courses which are really very good.

11/02/2024: You can't say you've visited Treviso without stopping by to get something from the gingerale guys, whether it's a breakfast, an aperitif or a lunch, fantastic raw materials, top kindness and helpfulness, friendliness through the roof. If it didn't exist you would have to invent it. Always compliments because they are the only ones present on TV for many years who continue to be present with smiles and jokes.

07/04/2024: In any city I go (Vicenza, Padua, Treviso), the Republic brunch is truly a guarantee. I personally love their pancakes (Lotus Pancakes & Healthy Pancakes the end of the world!), but also their hot lattes (I tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Golden Milk, fabulous). Adequate value for money. A must try.
03/04/2024: Eaten for lunch, very good sweet potato fries, but cold avocado toast (both the bread and the egg), lacking salt, practically non-existent avocado (a drizzle of its own) and not even a small side dish. For €13 I honestly don't accept it. Friendly and fast service.

As soon as you open the entrance door, you are surrounded by refined and persuasive music (chill-out & lounge oriented) that caresses you, gently, and envelops you for the entire duration of the evening.
The lights, always soft and warm, make the minimal-oriental environment absolutely pleasant.
The welcome, polite and very friendly,
by Paolo and Alice, immediately puts anyone at ease.
As soon as you enter, you immediately glimpse the confident and professional figure of chef Pierangelo Sartor at the console; a few words of introduction and the journey towards Saturn begins, without hesitation, without hesitation:
one surprise follows another, with strokes of genius, unexpected and very welcome.
The chef studies, researches, experiments, tests, after more than ten years he continues to amaze, continues to surprise, the wait for the next dish turns into trepidation, followed by a total joy of the eyes and the palate.
The winning feature is the entréè. and of all the other dishes that you can observe photographed, above,
it's the following:
you can't finish a tasting, you immediately wish you could repeat it
(every dinner becomes like an exam, passed with top marks, that you always want to do again).
I mention only two courses above category:
- Steaming salmon: to date I have never tasted something similar, something so precious, unforgettable
(I raise the bar, underlining that I miss the Frantzen one in Stockholm and the Salmon Eye one in Norway)
- Sushi special: every bite is gold, poured gold, the value of gold is beyond question. Every bite is a precious moment, quick but indelible
each bite is like a rare jewel, destined to shine for a few moments.
At the end the spectacular red mullet is served; it falls within the area (...and not only) yes, because in addition to sushi & raw there are also other solutions, always cutting-edge and with an enormous taste impact.
...doing ordinary things in an extraordinary way, with a strong Human Touch.... this is one of YU's winning secrets.

da più di una decade segna la via delle migliori degustazioni, in questo ambito, per gli specialisti del settore.
non appena si apre la porta, d'ingresso, si viene avvolti da una musica ricercata e suadente, (chill-out & lounge oriented) che ti accarezza, dolcemente, e ti avvolge per l'intera durata della serata.
le luci, sempre soffuse e calde, rendono l'ambiente minimal-oriental di assoluto gradimento.
l'accoglienza, garbata e molto friendly, targata Paolo Sartor e Alice Guerrieri, mette subito a proprio agio chiunque.
appena entrati, si intravvede, immediatamente, alla consolle la figura, sicura e professionale, dello chef Pierangelo Sartor; poche parole di presentazione ed il viaggio verso Saturno inizia, senza indugi, senza esitazioni:
una sorpresa segue l'altra, con dei colpi di genialità, inaspettati e graditissimi
lo chef studia, ricerca, sperimenta, collauda,
dopo più di dieci anni continua a stupirci, continua a sorprenderci,
l'attesa, per il piatto successivo, si trasforma in trepidazione,
seguita da una gioia totale degli occhi e del palato.
la caratteristica vincente sia delle entrée. sia di tutti gli altri piatti,
è la seguente: non si riesce a terminare un assaggio, che subito si vorrebbe poterlo ripetere (ogni cena diventa come un esame, riuscito col massimo de voti, che vorresti sempre rifare)
Cito solo due portate sopra categoria:
-salmone fumante: ad oggi non ho mai assaggiato qualcosa di simile, qualcosa di così prezioso, indimenticabile
(alzo l'asticella, sottolineando che mi manca quello di Frantzen a Stoccolma e quello di Salmon Eye in Norvegia)
-sushi special: ogni boccone è oro, oro colato, il valore dell'oro è fuori discussione
ogni boccone è un prezioso momento, veloce ma incancellabile
ogni boccone è come un gioiello raro, destinato a brillare per alcuni istanti
Alla fine viene servita la triglia, spettacolare;
Rientra nell'area (...e non solo) si, perchè oltre al sushi & crudo ci sono anche altre solutions, sempre d'avanguardia e di enorme impatto gustativo.
...fare cose ordinarie in modo straordinario,
con uno spiccato Human Touch....

05/02/2024: Dopo un lungo girovagare per la città ci siamo fermati in questo locale per mangiare qualcosa, scegliendo lo spazio esterno perché il clima comunque lo permetteva ed era riscaldato dalle apposite lampade.
Abbiamo optato per due insalatone, che si sono fatte attendere un po',ma che sono state ben gradite e abbondanti!
01/02/2024: Small typical tavern with cuisine (which I didn't try though). Friendly staff, good appetizers. I think it's splendid in summer, with tables (also) outside on a very pretty pedestrian square. I'll be back.
