05/05/2025: I can say that I found the place very characteristic, priceless to see the mill wheel while having dinner. Really delicious appetizers and Oscar-worthy rabbit! Carmenere di Cecchetto to frame this wonderful dinner. I want to come back for the outside garden next time! Well done!
01/05/2025: The food was amazing. Best food we had so far after 12 days in North Italy. The location is also great and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend it if you come to the Prosecco hills.

26/05/2025: We stopped during the Cammino del Prosecco, we were a group of 11 "wayfarers", Mr. Giovanni hosted us with great kindness and sympathy. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast was excellent. Dinner was also very welcome with genuine and tasty dishes. Highly recommended. Thank you, we will come back to visit you!

18/05/2025: Very pleasant and clean environment, with ample parking. Open for lunch. We stopped without booking and we immediately had a table but booking is recommended especially if you want to eat skewered meat. The appetizer was good and the skewer was fantastic! Soft and cooked very well. The service was impeccable with friendly and attentive owners and staff

23/05/2025: Hotel with a SPA lady located in the Prosecco hills area. Fascinating structure rich in history, with all the services. Perhaps the only flaw is some rooms a little small, but I imagine the adaptation of the castle to a hotel was not easy. Adequate prices
18/05/2025: Very easy to reach, comfortable rooms, very kind and welcoming staff, dream locations, the Princess spa is a very luxurious and beautiful spa full of paths.
The best gift I could give myself for a birthday, at least once in my life

02/06/2025: without going to Naples there is a very respectable Neapolitan pizzeria in the Prosecco valleys, Barbato pizzeria, and for us who come from near Turin it was a great experience, we will return next year, compliments again from Davide and Gianna

04/05/2025: I answer, as per previous I don't post random reviews and I wasn't wrong; as the owner states, if you want I still have the receipt and I ask the other people who were with me to also review it.
First review I normally don't put negative reviews since I respect people's work. But this time I have to say I was disappointed. We book for Sunday for 6 people. We specify that we are interested in the grill, they tell us our problem for 1pm. The surprise when ordering was that only 2 portions of grilled meat were available, we opt for what is missing with the sliced meat. hard and burnt grill result and baby portions, the cut is very tough, dry and overcooked in a mignon version, 8 slices for 4 people. contours of the house a forkful into the skull. we ask for a carafe of house wine but there is only bottled wine at staggering prices (I point out that at some tables it is in a carafe and there is also plenty on tap at the counter) in the end we feed ourselves with bread. Let's skip dessert so as not to fall into other "traps". Undrinkable coffee. I won't comment on the service which became unpleasant and irritating at the first complaints. Some seemed a little tipsy to me but that's just my impression. Extra bill more than €40 per person.
04/05/2025: Finally restaurateurs who know their job. The food is very good, the service is impeccable and the price is more than honest.

21/05/2025: Good food and friendly staff, the place is cute and small. I went for lunch and had bresaola and fresh asparagus appetizer, artichoke lasagna and final tiramisu. Everything was good, the lasagna was good but not exceptional and the tiramisu was a bit wet, but the cream was good!
21/05/2025: After a motorcycle tour, we headed to Al Capolinea for a meal.

25/10/2024: Awful wedding food-Beautiful venue
Our family recently had our wedding here. The venue is classic, romantic and beautifully situated in the hills of Umbria. The sister-owners, Frederica and Charia were helpful and engaging and gave their full attention to the spouses and guests. It was wonderful to move into the abbazia for three days with only our guests. The breakfast included is lovely and so many options! Small issues like poor internet could not detract from the quaint and majestic setting. It was truly magical and we highly recommend this venue!
On another note, I am posting this here because I think more future couples will be able to see it: DO NOT USE THE IN-HOUSE/ON-SITE CATERER. The caterer (Alloro Restaurant) is a separate business from the Abbazia itself but is on site. While everything else for the wedding was near perfect, the food at the wedding reception from this onsite caterer was absolutely awful. It was especially disappointing since we had visited the venue a year prior to do a full menu tasting with this caterer, which was quite excellent – but what we received on the wedding day was something else entirely. The quality and quantity of the food did not approach the tasting. Some of the courses were truly laughably small, cold, and overcooked. There was also no coffee, tea or espresso service offered, and the desserts were as though they had been purchased in supermarket packages. The poor quality food and slow service tried hard to ruin an otherwise beautiful wedding day. When I went looking for the caterer to talk with her during the service, she was nowhere to be found and was at another business arrangement. While the Alloro and Abbazia are separate businesses, it is reflective on the Abbazia to even engage someone as failing as this Caterer.

03/03/2025: mi sono piacevolmente goduto una pizza con la mia ragazza.
Ambiente carino, forno a legna e cucina parzialmente a vista, tavoli ampi e comodi.
4 o 5 pizze soltanto in menu - quindi a primo impatto riduttivo e prezzi particolarmente alti ( circa 3.50 euro sopra la media).
La pizza: è davvero buona, pasta scioglievole con macchie a leopardo molto accentuate - tipiche di cottura ad alta temperatura su impasto ad alta idratazione. Salsa al pomodoro divina e mozzarella davvero super.
Babà buono e caffè altrettanto ben fatto.
45 euro di conto con 1 birra piccola, una media, 2 pizze, un dolce e 1 caffè - assolutamente corretto per come abbiamo mangiato.
TORNERÓ DI SICURO
09/02/2025: Sempre superlativi. Ingredienti di prima qualità. Cortesia e giusto prezzo. Vale la pena di fare chilometri per gustare il loro prodotto.
