22/03/2024: One of the worst diners in Italy. Ravioli were cold and overcooked, spaghetti dry and the meat chewy. Tiramisu seemed dry aged. Service was nice though. Would not reccomend.

16/03/2024: One of the few places open in Albarella out of season. Informal place with good service. Good appetizer with boiled fish. Orecchiette with turnip greens and clams are amazing, fantastic. Very light fried calamari and prawns. The only discordant note was the potatoes, mint and artichokes, with the latter using artichokes in oil. Venial sin admitted by the manager, not having fresh ones. Overall a great experience.

05/09/2023: There were two of us and we paid 94€ where we shared a starter (3x fried mozzarella balls) and had two main courses, as well as 2 glasses of wine each - that's it.. the view is pretty nice, but the prices are horrendous and that Food rather below average... unfortunately we won't be coming back.

16/01/2024: I give two stars, waiting for another try, hoping to be able to increase the rating. I am a very well-known customer on the coast. This evening I went for dinner with my wife and daughters. Very nice location, and perfect adjacent children's area. Excellent waiter friendliness. Everything was fine until 9pm, from then on there was an invasion of mosquitoes so much so that my wife and the girls left their plates intact or almost intact. Although the treatment of insects is the responsibility of others, I am convinced that if you want to acquire the customer, you must also independently increase the disinfestation. They kindly brought (a little late and upon request) mosquito nets etc., but the amount of insects was enormous. So despite the €20 discount, I don't feel satisfied, leaving a bottle practically full of excellent wine, and leaving on an empty stomach. The owner is friendly. My advice is a little more investment in lanterns and additional mosquito treatment. I'll give it another chance.

13/09/2023: Very nice place, with many rooms, many seats. Friendly staff. Classic dishes and generous portions. The large appetizer and the salmon fettuccine were delicious! EXQUISITE!

04/09/2023: Posto molto molto bello, prezzi in linea con gli altri ristoranti ma che ha colpito e' l abbondanza e la qualita' dei piatti. Era da tempo che non mangiavo cosi bene. Super consigliato.

11/03/2024: Sinceramente non ho mai mangiato delle seppioline nostrane così buone.Validi anche gli spaghetti con le seppie nere. Mio marito ha preso i cicchetti polesani,io invece sono una patita delle cicale e del patè di dentice,buonissimi..complimenti al servizio,camerieri gentili e accorti.

03/01/2024: Siamo stati questa sera a cena. Ristorante è molto accogliente. Il pane e la focaccia fatti da loro sono strepitosi. il pesce crudo era freschissimo. La pasta alle vongole molto buona, il fritto misto eccellente. Il pescato del giorno all’amo eccezionale . Piccola pasticceria gentilmente offerta deliziosa. Personale molto gentile è qualificato. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. PROMOSSO!

01/04/2024: Today I went with friends with the hope of having a fish-based lunch, which didn't happen except for the name of the dishes on the menu. I took some first courses such as tagliolini with seafood, where the seafood was absent but also the flavor of the sea. The scampi risotto looked like plain rice mixed with a knob of butter, leaving aside the fact that the dishes that arrived at the table were very cold, they looked like they had been heated in the microwave. Inconsistent price quality, prices too high for the quality of the food, a place not to be recommended to anyone.

20/02/2024: We had a very good time, the products served are of good quality and cooked really well. The prices are excellent compared to all the other restaurants and the portions are generous and the staff friendly. This year we both ate on site and took advantage of the takeaway, everything was perfect.

24/01/2024: It's a magical place for me. I love the owner and the blonde girl. Every time I come in I feel like I'm part of the family and they know how to spoil me with extraordinary fish delights. In addition to fish I also have pizza, and it is always delicious.

24/10/2023: Pizza senza pregi o difetti, forse un po' piccola di dimensione e prezzo un po' alto, mi aspettavo di meno. Però quello che non mi aspettavo è che mi vendessero una birra Ichnusa da 0,33, (in attesa che preparassero la mia pizza da asporto) a 4 euro. Direi che è stato un colpo basso, non mi è piaciuto

08/09/2023: We were intrigued to try their cuisine by seeing the photos of the dishes... we call to book, they tell us that they have many free places, to be fair we inform them that we have two dogs and then they inform us that dogs are not allowed in their restaurant... everyone does their own choices but I kindly ask the owner to change their information section as it says "dogs allowed" so at least things can be made clear immediately without having to call and be refused

09/02/2024: La Taverna è uno dei posti che frequento da moltissimo tempo e, sicuramente, ci tornerò. Però devo anche dire che nelle ultimissime visite, ho notato un lieve peggioramento per quanto riguarda la cucina. Ad esempio, gli spaghetti alle vongole, che prendevo sempre, nelle ultime due occasioni navigavano nell'olio e non nella classica cremina che tanto mi piaceva. Altra nota: spero non alzino ancora i prezzi perché siamo al limite.

03/02/2024: Giornata di sole che ha "chiamato" una passeggiata al mare, alla fine della quale si è fatto mezzogiorno. Google mi segnala questo posto a 300 metri da dove avevo parcheggiato e quindi abbiamo provato a vedere se c'era posto. Sorridenti e professionali ci hanno accolto subito. Ambiente molto ampio in legno, con belle vetrate molto ampie. Ho molto gradito lo spazio vivibile tra i tavoli (spesso introvabile!) E la salsina di entrée. Purtroppo eravamo si fretta e avevano voglia di carne. Per cui abbiamo optato per due grigliate miste. Ottime! Cotta benissimo. Morbida e saporita, accompagnata da verdure alla griglia e patate fritte. Il tutto per meno di 20 euro a persona! Ho visto passare del bellissimo pesce! Prossima volta si proverà anche quello. Bella sorpresa insomma!

30/08/2023: the place itself is beautiful, the problem is the maintenance: the room we had was very dirty, the air conditioner didn't work and they didn't even give us pillows, we had to sleep without them, luckily we changed rooms, that one was clean, the air conditioner worked and they gave us pillows. The pool was beautiful but also dirty, it was full of sand, never found it without it.

02/04/2024: Change of management. Nice environment, excellent meat, nice choice of wines, a clear leap in quality of the place, radically transformed even the exteriors. Very nice.

27/03/2024: I would like to inform you that this is a new management so let's avoid reading the old reviews; I've been there for lunch a couple of times, one of which was for a baptism. The quality of the food is more than good and the staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
