04/05/2025: Negative experience, we ordered two pizzas, a steak and a beef tartare, in addition to having waited more than three-quarters of an hour after ordering, we were served a steak which was a very thin steak with a lot of fat and overcooked, we had asked for it to be undercooked, while the tartare was nothing more than ground meat for ragù.
The pizzas, although discreet, arrived much later.
So I'm sorry to say that expectations were very high and we were very disappointed!!!!!

14/04/2025: While passing through here, the lady at the B&B EL CRIVEO recommended it to me, an EXCELLENT place for everything, service, quality and courtesy. I went without booking, the place was full, not even a 5 minute wait and they let me sit. Excellent quick service.... CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL...

27/04/2025: On April 25th, a friend and I introduced us to this nice place in a corner near the main square of Piazzola, also close to a villa. The environment is a bit modern. Comfortable chairs offer à la carte menus of both fish and meat. Average prices, but the quantity is guaranteed and the quality too. We took the sliced beef which was very tender even with the most cooked cooking. Generous portions, I didn't take photos, an oversight. The desserts were also good but a little expensive, €6.50 for a small glass of mousse or tiramisu. Worth coming back to try the fish

16/05/2025: Really good food, helpful staff, smiling professional. Their appetizer is special. Average price. The owner is something extra. It seems that serving tables is a walk in the park for her while anyone with a minimum of experience knows that it is very tiring. Well done everyone. Absolutely recommended

13/01/2025: …in occasione del mercatino dell’antiquariato a Piazzola sul Brenta!!…per cui era l’ultima domenica del mese di novembre!!…e dopo aver fatto la visita alla prestigiosa Villa Contarini!!…sono stata per il pranzo!!…in questo locale!!…che mi è stato indicato appunto da un addetto di Villa Contarini!!…trattoria/locanda del Mantegna!!…ambiente ampio e accogliente!!…molto semplice e luminoso!!…la lista che ci è stata proposta è molto ampia e varia!!…scelta di primi!!…e di secondi!!…con piatti di carne e di pesce!!…tanti contorni e insalate miste!!…ma io desideravo proprio assaggiare un piatto della tradizione veneta!!…e così è stato!!…tris di baccalà con la polentina!!…una vera delizia!!…accompagnato da acqua e vino bianco!!…a seguire il dolce e il caffè!!…con personale molto gentile!!…dinamico e professionale!!…che dire!!…è stata proprio un’ottima scelta!!…e non vedo l’ora di tornare qui!!…alla trattoria/locanda Mantegna!!…a Piazzola sul Brenta!!…magico veneto!!…🔝👌🍽️💯🔝💯
