The atmosphere is intimate and comfortable, with good music. Affordable prices. In one of the most charming locations in the city of Este, Brendan is a place where the pleasure of good food and a pleasant atmosphere blend harmoniously.

26/07/2026: Fantastic evening in a real pub We ate at this pub and had a great time. It's a really nice place, clean, and with a real atmosphere, all in wood (you can see it in the photos). The food was delivered very quickly. We enjoyed the sandwiches—well-filled, good meat. There's a great selection of beers. In the end, we paid a fair price. If you're looking for a cozy place to eat well, go there 😉

23/04/2026: Ten minutes from the highway exit and very close to the walls of Este is this Michelin-starred restaurant, boasting a double red prawn fork, which makes its mark on certain dishes. The atmosphere is small to medium-sized, intimate, and well-decorated. Accessible via a flight of stairs, although the main entrance, unfortunately, is unsuitable for those with mobility issues. It's very clean, with slightly dim lighting but always clearly visible. There are items, such as lamps and even glassware, of the highest quality. The staff, namely the two owners and managers, are very kind, down-to-earth and never overbearing. Very humble and smiling. I chose the seven-course tasting menu, which, I might say, met all my expectations. In particular, the venison, the special dessert, the beautifully dense and creamy risotto, and the two asparagus creams, truly delicious. The initial "green basket," their strong "aperitivo," always served as advertised and well-received by customers, is special. Everything is seasonal, and varies from season to season. The bread, served very hot and in large portions, is special. The Incàlmo water is very good. The bathrooms have excellent hand soap, served with cloth towels and toothpicks, the latter being particularly special. The price/quality/quantity is more than excellent, including a free cover charge or already included in the final price. What can I say? They're very good at managing and taking care of the customer. Well done 👏 It's worth a visit.

03/08/2026: We've been going to Arcadia Pizzeria since we arrived in Este two years ago. The pizza is fantastic, with excellent ingredients and a top-notch flavor. It's large but light, and never gets old. The service is always perfect: friendly, helpful, and attentive, even when there are a lot of customers. Pets are welcome; our pet Phoebe was so well looked after. We try to return whenever we crave pizza. Ernesto and Mediterranea are our favorite flavors; we almost always order those, plus a liter of very fresh prosecco, for a total of €30.

09/07/2026: I went for the first time with my partner who had heard about this place, excellent pizza and also beautiful atmosphere, quality service, kindness and friendliness which is not taken for granted next time I will try the other dishes, truly congratulations.

09/05/2026: I went to their new location this morning for breakfast at Domus Medica. I highly recommend stopping by to see the beautiful, tastefully decorated place, with incredible breakfast food, and to meet the owner and the employee behind the counter. Simply delightful. It's nice to know places like this exist.

27/07/2026: Excellent restaurant just steps from Este's main street. The menu isn't extensive, but it offers meat and fish options. Seasonal, excellent quality products, such as the excellent prosciutto crudo, beautifully served and generously portioned. Homemade gnocchi. Smoked tagliata (sliced ​​beef) is rarely so good, and the fusilli with peas and interesting cheeses are also very good. Delicious dolse. Two rides cost about €45 per person, obviously excluding drinks. I would gladly return and will definitely return!

27/07/2026: Le Strie Restaurant is located in the historic center of Este. The atmosphere is small, intimate, yet charming. Decorated in a modern, minimalist, and warm style, with soft music. Italian/Mediterranean cuisine with a Venetian soul: traditional dishes revisited with meticulous presentation. Strong features: homemade dishes such as *bigoli al ragù, lasagna, and ravioli*. A select wine list and spectacular desserts. Friendly staff. Excellent value. Recommended.

30/04/2026: We had dinner here. Simple, no frills, good and friendly service and reasonably priced.

18/04/2026: We arrived by bike, and the owner welcomed us warmly and took care of our bikes, storing them in his bike-friendly storage room. We enjoyed an excellent meal with homemade bigoli and duck sauce, without having to worry about our bikes being left unattended. A simple, homey place, excellent food, and incredibly friendly staff. What can I say... everything was wonderful!!!! Highly recommended!

10/06/2026: The food was good, but the short old man in the white shirt with the bald spot was very rude. We were thinking about what drinks to get, and he just had a tantrum and took our glasses away. Didn’t even give us a chance to look and decide. It wasn’t even busy. I should have just walked out. The food was okay, but not good enough to put up with that behaviour.

28/07/2026: Specializing in pizzas, they also offer very pleasant traditional dishes. The owner speaks English. There's a small outdoor terrace and a large covered veranda with openings, in addition to the air-conditioned dining rooms. The restrooms are clean, which is worth noting. The cloth tablecloths and napkins are also a plus. The wine selection is decent and reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly; don't hesitate to let her know your preferences. It's best to book in advance and arrive early as it can get busy. I highly recommend it; this is our second year coming.

01/06/2026: Four of us went for lunch on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The experience was excellent, from the welcome, to the food, and the location. The owner, Silvia, explained to us that she wants to offer a different kind of cuisine, just the way she wants it, and I think she succeeded perfectly. The sardines in saor were very good, and the first courses we tried included bigoli with duck, pappardelle with peas, and asparagus and pea pie, as well as the cod and tiramisu. Highly recommended!!!

14/05/2026: We passed through Este for work and stopped for lunch at this restaurant. What can I say? It was a real surprise. The food was prepared just like it used to be, excellent quality, and simple, yet meticulously prepared. I absolutely recommend it.

13/08/2026: Aside from the nice location, everything else is absolutely crappy. Starting with the service, which is non-existent, the incredibly long wait times even though the place was only half full, the absurd menu (under titles like artisanal drinks you found San Benedetto tea!), the wrong and limp pizza, and the waiter you had to chase to get their attention (we ordered dessert three times without success). Honestly, one of the worst pizzerias I've ever been to.

11/08/2026: Review update: The pizza is consistently high-quality, even in the thinner, crispier version. It rightfully remains a Venetian pride among the best pizza places. Excellent coffee (even the decaf). Easy and free parking nearby. Old review: Returning after a few years and a few times where I wasn't completely satisfied, I was captivated by the deliciousness of two pizzas, the Assoluto di pomodoro and the Assoluto di melanzane, each better than the other. Overall, they are two pizzas with a nice thick crust, the base very thin but able to withstand the amount of ingredients without getting soggy. The diameter is very large, as is the plate. The staff is always very kind and professional. The entrée, with seeded bread, is very good. Excellent value for money.
