The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the kitchen was meticulously prepared. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. It wasn't our first time here, and we'll definitely be back again!

18/01/2026: Last night I went to dinner with a friend. They made us wait 20 minutes to order an extra drink. When our pizzas arrived, the bacon was raw/boiled, making it inedible. It's a shame, but for once it was a good place.

06/11/2025: Now when I'm in Cittadella, it's a must!! For lunch, the daily menu is excellent, with exemplary quality and variety of dishes. Delicious porchetta, salads with everything. The service is friendly, courteous, and simple, especially for those who are in town for work.

05/12/2025: Overall, we ate well (I recommend the bigoli alla matriciana, which was amazing), and the service was helpful and attentive. The only small flaw was that the appetizer didn't live up to expectations (radicchio tart, Morlacco cream, and vegetables). The focus of the dish was more on the vegetables than the tart and, above all, the cream (which was scarce). The price was basically fair, although perhaps a few dishes were a bit overpriced. Overall, recommended.

09/10/2025: Very good pizza, and the owners are very kind and helpful. We ordered several family-sized pizzas for a party and were very pleased (not only with the pizza but also with the punctuality). There's ample parking across the street (near the church). You can park in front (one car only) to load up on pizzas if you have a lot. Excellent value for money. A 10/10.

28/10/2025: I was at the Cittadella fair. My friends and I wanted to have a drink, so we opted for a two-person spritz. Aside from the lackluster service, which is understandable given the rush and crowd, we paid €6 for a spritz! It was as if we were in Venice. As if that weren't enough, it was also watered down and lacked prosecco! We were a bit disappointed.

10/10/2025: After 10pm you can't have an aperitif without them giving it to you in a cocktail glass, doubling the price, a rule that is not clear since they came up with it.

04/01/2026: Extreme disappointment and rudeness from the owner. Unfortunately, the experience was not a positive one. The owner displayed an unprofessional attitude and showed little concern for customer relations. Following his curt and unkind response, an unpleasant situation arose that clearly led to us not being served the welcome drink, which was, however, regularly offered to all the other tables. This behavior is perplexing and unworthy of a restaurant business. Even from a culinary standpoint, the quality of the food did not make up for the inconvenience, resulting in an overall lackluster and disappointing experience, with pre-made and frozen first courses. We will not be returning.

26/12/2025: Yet another Christmas-themed reunion 🎄 among "survivors" (by the way, thanks to everyone for the wonderful evening 🔝), this time at Taverna del Borgo, a place we'd actually already tried a couple of years ago with complete satisfaction 👍🏻. Arriving at 8:30 pm 🕣 with a reservation 📞, we were escorted to our table, already set for eight people, and sat down while waiting for everyone else to arrive. We then quickly moved on to ordering, unanimously opting directly for the house specialty (therefore without appetizers, so as to fully enjoy the bigoli). This time, however, the choice fell on individual portions (during our previous visit we had instead opted for a couple of shared courses), so everyone could choose their own taste. To complete the order, four assorted bottles of water 💧, a can of Coke and a liter of Pinot Noir (although indicated on the receipt as "Caberent", perhaps a variant of the more well-known "Cabernet, but so be it). My bigoli all'amatriciana 🍝 were undoubtedly very good 😋 (although not too al dente) as were all the other variations tried by the diners (carbonara, in sauce, white meats, prawns / cherry tomatoes / saffron cream and pumpkin / taleggio / mushrooms). Subsequently, the undersigned and our "Maestro" 👨🏻‍🦲 then tried their hand at a nice "cacio e pepe" (good, although the dressing perhaps lacked a little creaminess) encore. To conclude, six coffees ☕️ and a barley at the end of the meal. Excellent value for money too, considering that in We spent a total of €164 💶 (so €20.50 each). However, there's also something I didn't like about this: they don't issue separate bills. In particular, I didn't appreciate the attitude of the owner 👨🏻‍🦳 at the cashier, who, with an expression somewhere between indifferent and annoyed, simply pointed to the notice actually posted behind him. Granted, he has the right to deny this service, I also feel free to lower the overall rating in this review, especially since separate bills have become commonplace elsewhere. The fact remains that, given the substantial total, perhaps an exception could have been made. That said, we certainly had a wonderful evening. 30/10/2025: I got the Exotic Cake for my parents' anniversary and it was a marvel 😍 Really delicious—like all their creations! The balance of flavors, the texture, the aesthetics… everything was perfect 👌 We live in Bassano del Grappa, but a cake like this is definitely worth the trip 🥰 You're always a guarantee ❤️

17/01/2026: We left the palace and, being right next door, we didn't hesitate and went in for lunch. Honestly, all the dishes were delicious, and the dessert was great too. I could have eaten a slice of every single cake they had. They all looked so good.

17/01/2026: The hot chocolate with cream is very good, but for 5 euros they usually give you a cookie. The atmosphere is beautiful, especially the little train on the wall.
