01/03/2025: Returned after a couple of years for a friend's party in this restaurant where you can admire a beautiful external panorama of the hills. Came today with my family, children and young grandchildren aged 2 or 3 and 4 to celebrate a family member in this very particular elegant and modern airy place. Opening before lunch brought a small plate of polenta with a very good small meatball. Then ordered an appetizer of cold cuts with sopressa and raw ham with very thin cheese twisted to look like a salad, very tasty dish, excellent cured meats, various types of bread and breadsticks at the center of the table. Then ordered a first course of nettle tagliatelle with very delicate, tasty and light white ragù. Then I took a second course with cooked ham in wine paired with very sweet pear slices and mashed potatoes, an exceptional dish, very inviting and tasty, lunch accompanied by 2 excellent wines having a cellar of national and foreign wines of excellent brands from all regions. Lunch was served by the staff in a very professional and elegant manner, impeccable even towards the children. I give a compliment to the owners of this restaurant for everything for the excellent quality dishes and particular preparation with an elegance and refinement in the service always asking us if it was to our liking both for us and for the children. Fair price having enjoyed an excellent lunch and then brought us some delicious carnival fritters and chiacchiere to taste. Highly recommended

01/02/2025: If you come to visit Arquà Petrarca, you can stay in this hotel with professional staff. The struè has a restaurant with excellent cuisine and a selection of wines.

03/01/2025: Day spent in the company of friends and the Il Canzoniere Restaurant satisfied our stomachs. The menu is rich with every type of choice both meat and fish and there are also vegetarian choices on the menu. The dishes are well presented and have excellent flavours, the staff are very courteous and the environment is large and can accommodate large groups. The view of the hills is beautiful and in summer it must also be very nice for having an aperitif outside, given the presence of a beautiful panoramic terrace.

16/03/2025: Siamo nei pressi di Arquà per lavoro. Attirati dalle recensioni proviamo l'Osteria al Guerriero. Prenotiamo, e ci dicono che c'è posto solo fuori ma che fa molto caldo tanto che si sta in maniche di camicia. Arriviamo all'orario combinato, ma il tavolo non è disponibile. Attendiamo: ci sono 14° con un bel venticello frizzante. La proprietaria ci lascia in piedi ad aspettare accanto a due signori che hanno quasi terminato, e che alla fine - dopo 15 min - mossi a compassione ci lasciano il posto. Intanto altri avventori in attesa vengono incoraggiati dal personale ad accomodarsi sul davanzale delle finestre piano terra di un edificio di fronte. Ci sediamo senza togliere sciarpa e cappotto. Dal menu del giorno, pensando di velocizzare, ordiniamo due primi (gnocchi asparagi e gamberetti) ed un secondo da condividere, due calici di bianco. Ci portano subito acqua e vino: nei calici 1 cm di liquido! La dose corretta a calice ed a menù dovrebbe essere di 150 ml..... Finalmente dopo 40 minuti, riappare la proprietaria con i nostri due primi, svolazzando tra strada e sala interna perché non sa a che tavolo vanno. Ci sbracciamo un po', ed alla fine abbiamo i nostri gnocchi sul tavolo. Solo gnocchi badate bene, perché di gamberetti ce n'è uno solo per piatto. Gli gnocchi sono un po' crudi, ma la fame, l'orario, il freddo hanno compiuto la magia e buttiamo giù tutto con l'acqua, perché il vino - un sorso e via - è già finito nell'attesa. Il secondo tutto sommato va un po' meglio anche se pepatissimo. Sono passate ormai più di due ore: chiediamo il conto ad un cameriere di passaggio, che ci dice che lui non se ne occupa. Proviamo all'interno: facciamo 10 minuti di coda perché un cliente prima di noi vuole la fattura. Quando arriva il nostro turno, la proprietaria ci dice che il conto si fa solo fuori al tavolo: usciamo, ma il nostro tavolo è già preso. Quindi attendiamo in piedi fuori un altro quarto d'ora. A proposito il conto è di € 76..... Che dire.... Non sappiamo se i guerrieri siamo stati noi, oppure se ci vorrà il guerriero per riportarci lì

09/03/2025: We went recently for a SUPER lunch! We would return to Arqua' just for the wine shop! We ate the house bruschetta and were blown away by the flavors. The owner was kind and welcomed us as if he were at home. We felt welcome and welcomed. TOP

03/04/2025: There were 3 of us and we ate there on a Saturday for lunch, well what can I say... excellent food, we had an appetizer for 3, two first courses, 3 steaks (a rib steak that was scary, I could have eaten unlimited quantities of it), various side dishes, sweets and bitters, 3 glasses of wine and then 2 more bottles during the meal. All excellent food and drink. A truly classy place with a priceless view. Since we were a little tipsy we took the attic room with two rooms, I think we have 5 rooms in total, and everything was perfect there too. Really, if you pass by Arquà, stop by. In the evening we didn't have dinner, the two people with me stayed in the room, I went to keep Dario the owner company and have a chat. Greetings to the Chef, a great person. 16/03/2025: Fancy restaurant with a noce terrace, well chosen menu, rather pricey. They cook everything on the spot thus be prepared to wait a bit. The duck breast and the wild boar tartare were simply excellent.
