The dishes were delicious! The only small inconvenience was that the Florentine was not served rare, as requested, but the staff promptly found a friendly solution to remedy this.

26/02/2025: Very positive experience. The place is enchanting with a panoramic view of the Marmarole and the Sorapiss in an unforgettable winter guise. The sunny position leads to a prolonged stop. We had lunch in the refined rustic interior with inviting and tasty dishes as well as desserts. Fast, efficient and friendly service. The very sociable and smiling owner even offered us a grappa, fortunately a little light. Prices are average. Passed with full marks I would only point out one thing that could be improved in my opinion: the generator set being too close to the mountain hut is a bit too invasive due to noise and smell...

18/04/2025: Really nice restaurant by the road with LOCAL dishes which are great! Staff is very quick and friendly, they speak English, German and, naturally, Italian which is very important because the menu is in Italian only. PS They put a lemon in my beer!

Non ricordavo il nome di questo bellissimo agriturismo perché son stato portato da amici, l’ho ricercato perché ne conservo ancora dopo tanto tempo un ricordo bellissimo! Mangiato molto bene spendendo il giusto, personale cortese e disponibile, posto rustico e curato molto accogliente. Consiglio di portarvi a casa qualche prodotto da mangiare in famiglia, per tornare con la mente in questo posto stupendo :)

30/03/2025: We were looking for a pizzeria after returning from a weekend in a refuge and we found ourselves in a refined but very particular fairy-tale environment. I had a Dracula pizza and I assure you that it is super good, but not for all palates and all throats 😀😀😀 (very spicy as indicated on the menu) I devoured it but my partner who tasted a piece of it told me that I'm not normal 😂 Even the owner Cristina came to the table a couple of times to see how it was going 😁😁 Anyway, top pizzas, impeccable service and lots of courtesy and friendliness. Surely when I pass through Auronzo again I will stop to eat in this place 💪🏻💪🏻 A special greeting to Cristina ☺️ see you soon.

15/03/2025: I searched on Google for "where to eat gluten-free Auronzo di Cadore" as the first option: Pizzeria Ristorante Al Rio, menu specialty: gluten-free. Excellent, it was what I was looking for. I arrived at the restaurant, on the menu it had pizzas with gluten-free dough, but with a fairly obvious note: by reservation only and preferably 3 hours in advance. Did I eat what I was looking for? Obviously not! I tried to explain to the cashier at the time of payment that it is difficult for a tourist to know that he must also book the type of dough, then he replied: next time you know. Thanks, but I really don't think so.

13/03/2025: Ottima pizzeria per qualità degli ingredienti .Ottimo ristorante:i primi vietnamiti di alto livello;gli involtini primavera poi home made di qualità speciale, con ingredienti freschi:da provare! Le penne all'arrabbiata:un piatto apparentemente semplice , ma al dente giusto, col piccante giusto.... e il pomodoro abbondante e dolce ne fanno una chicca del posto:provatele.-
