20/11/2025: Passing by Lake Garda, we asked Google's artificial intelligence where to eat the best tortellini in Valeggio, and the answer was: the best is Alla Borsa. There may be other restaurants in Valeggio that are better than this, but Alla Borsa is certainly a gem that's hard to match. A warm welcome, professional and speedy service, and an interesting menu rooted in local specialties. After our usual salad (fresh and plentiful), we chose salmon trout carpaccio and prosciutto crudo with (wonderful) homemade mustard as an appetizer. Both were excellent. And then, above all, the typical Valeggio tortellini, with a pasta so thin it's hard to understand how they stay together. After all, there's a tradition that has lasted generations. The Valpolicella Superiore and Custoza (by the glass, and a very generous portion at that) were excellent, and the price was fair, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and craftsmanship. This restaurant will become a regular stop for us. Thanks Gemini for the great recommendation!

29/12/2024: Passing by chance in Valeggio we stopped in this place without a reservation, very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food as well as value for money... we will definitely be back

29/12/2024: The restaurant from the street does not present itself in an optimal way. Apparently we wouldn't have entered it. But we trusted the reviews and enjoyed an exquisite dinner at an affordable cost. The service was very courteous. Advised. Excellent stew and cod.

20/10/2025: My boyfriend and I went for lunch a month ago to celebrate our anniversary... we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place! Our table was in the back, overlooking the water, right in the sun. It was a gorgeous day and an excellent lunch, combined with the kindness of the waitresses who served us! The place was recommended to us by his parents, who have been there before. We had two starters, dessert, and a bottle of rosé—all delicious!

08/10/2025: The two of us, including our dog, got the best spot between the rushing waters of the river. Two place settings were immediately brought for an appetizer—three polenta variations—which we wanted to share. The main courses were—of course—tortellini (a choice of four was recommended) and shark in a green sauce. Everything was attractively presented and flavorful. Matching wines were recommended. The dessert was also impressive, the whole thing a harmonious symphony. The service was very attentive, and language barriers were discreetly and sensitively addressed. We felt very valued as guests. Unreservedly recommended.
