04/01/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the historic Finailhof, which I previously only knew as a summer stopover. The apartment was spacious, very comfortably furnished, and offered a breathtaking view. The wood-burning stove was lit every day. We enjoyed the varied breakfast in the dining room – always fresh cheese and ham, boiled eggs, fruit, and muesli, everything was there. The dumplings and Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancake) in the evening were also excellent. A huge thank you to the whole family for their warm hospitality – we felt very comfortable and welcome, especially with our little screamer. The tour of the stables was also a highlight for our daughter and me. We will definitely be back!

03/01/2026: Excellent food, fair prices, beautiful lake view, but for us the wait was too long. It's still worth it, perhaps after a nice walk along the trail.

All in all, for us, it's the only restaurant in the valley where you feel at home, offering consistently high quality without being pretentious. 26/10/2025: After a wonderful hike, we visited the Bergl Alm and were thrilled! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. I would especially like to highlight the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent; the South Tyrolean specialties are simply delicious. The portions are generous, and the value for money is good. The cozy atmosphere and the sun terrace are the perfect place to linger and relax—just the right place to recharge after a hike. The Bergl Alm is an absolute must for every hiker and mountain lover in Kurzras. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

30/10/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by the Rableid Alm! While most hikers bypass this rustic hut and continue on to the often overcrowded Eishof Hut, we enjoyed a wonderful break here. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and authentic. The magnificent view of the Ötztal Alps is particularly impressive. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

19/10/2025: Beautiful alpine pasture with a fantastic mountain panorama. Good value for money. I had gluten-free roasted potatoes with fried egg and bacon.
