24/10/2025: Since we discovered the restaurant on the Algund Waalweg path a few years ago, we've been visiting it every time we vacation in the Merano area. This time we "had to" eat in the dining room because it's already too cold on the terrace in October evenings. It's also very cozy inside, but understandably even cozier outside. The food is very good, and the desserts are always a highlight for us. Very friendly staff. We're looking forward to next year!

14/10/2025: An original host who takes you back in time; the food is a bit unusual but delicious. Wine is the house drink, not beer. Everything is homemade. Reservations are required; otherwise, no change.

Very, very delicious food and—this is the best and most precious thing—a whole lot of warmth. You have to experience it and be there to see it for yourself.
Be sure to make reservations weeks in advance.
You'll only find a spot if you're very lucky.

12/06/2025: Ich musste 60 Jahre alt werden, um so eine treiste, unverschämte und ungepflegte Bedienung kennenzulernen. Hiermit möchten wir alle Gäste aus Algund und Umgebung vor diesem Lokal warnen. Ich bin noch nie in meinem Leben aus einem Lokal geflüchtet, aber hier musste ich es tun. Die Bedienung ist an Unverschämtheit nicht zu übertreffen. Es gibt tolle Restaurants in der Nähe.
19/03/2025: In centro a Lagundo, proprio sulla piazza. Sala da pranzo vuota. Menu solo in tedesco. Canederli in brodo buoni. Carne così così. Spatzli con funghi discreti. Servizio assente.
