08/02/2026: A truly old-fashioned mountain hut with a cozy atmosphere. Delicious food at reasonable prices, friendly service. It's a bit of a walk, depending on which way you arrive.

Dear Schmiederalm Family,
we would like to thank you for the unforgettable stay! Our 5 nights in room number 1 were fantastic.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the bed and balcony was simply breathtaking! The mountains at sunset – magical!
Breakfast was a highlight every morning. A generous platter of cold cuts and cheeses on every table, a large bread basket, and fresh eggs made to order.
Dinner in the traditional dining room was superb and cozy. The Strauben (a type of Austrian fried pastry) was another highlight!
But the best thing was the incredibly friendly hosts! Even Grandpa helped out. And of course, we mustn't forget the super cuddly cat!
The Schmiederalm's location is perfect for hikers and skiers. We were in fantastic ski resorts within half an hour and were also able to enjoy wonderful hikes.
We highly recommend the Schmiederalm and will definitely come back again in the summer!

24/08/2025: A very beautiful mountain hut, perfect for a break from the many hikes and trails... you can reach several destinations from here! Friendly staff, everything was good, great prices!

15/08/2024: Ci siamo recati in questo bellissimo ristorante per festeggiare un avvenimento in famiglia.
Il locale è bellissimo, lo spazio all esterno ancora di più.
Abbiamo iniziato con un aperitivo all esterno: tartine eccelse, buone e belle. Vino di produzione della cantina Zirmerhof, davvero buono.
La cena a seguire di 5 portate, dove i sapori della tradizione erano sia rispettati che interpretati in chiave moderna, è stata buonissima.
Personale di sala preparato, professionale e gentilissimo.
Il proprietario è stato professionale ed estremamente gentile.
Dal momento in cui lo abbiamo contattato per organizzare la cena si è dimostrato comprensivo delle nostre richieste. È venuto incontro alle nostre esigenze con professionalità e gentilezza.
Prezzo assolutamente onesto. Se paragonato ai prezzi correnti anche delle semplici malghe, risulta economico.
Finisco dicendo che due commensali lavorano in ristoranti stellati, rispettivamente in sala e in cucina e, anche loro, sono rimasti deliziati dall esperienza!
