What can I say...
Excellent cuisine, we had lunch in a relaxing atmosphere, with delicious dishes.
Comfortable atmosphere, courteous, helpful, and never intrusive staff. Highly recommended.
When we're passing through Castelbuono, we'll definitely be back.
09/01/2026: We had a lovely dinner at Palazzaccio. The service was very professional and the food was excellent. The quality of the products were amazing including the local olive oil and wine. We only recommend to include more vegetarian dishes to the menu. Thank you again for the experience!

11/03/2026: A flawless stay at Do House in Castelbuono. The property is beautiful, clean, and meticulously maintained, in a perfect location for enjoying the village.
Special thanks to the owner, Domenico: a delightful and incredibly helpful person, his advice was invaluable for discovering the best of the area. Sicilian hospitality at its finest. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
28/02/2026: A lovely pub in the center of Castelbuono, near Piazza Margherita, with friendly service and truly excellent cocktails! The kids said the fries were delicious 😄.

04/01/2026: We went to this restaurant because the people we were with had been there before and had reported a good experience. We had lunch with appetizers, first courses, and a second course. Everything was really good, with generous portions and a good value. The mushrooms were very fresh. The staff was friendly and always smiling. The location, in the historic center of Castelbuono, offers both indoor and outdoor dining with a panoramic view (especially in the summer). Recommended.

14/04/2025: Dopo la visita al Castello abbiamo trovato questo piccolo locale.Mangiato un ottima carne del luogo.

Prezzo nella norma!
04/01/2025: Menu fisso 27 a persona: con acqua, coperto, amaro e caffè, 30 a coppia circa.
Antipasto: funghi pleurotus serviti e conditi in modo poco gradevole e stuzzicante. Lo stesso fungo presentato in 4 varianti molto simili di sapore e una piccola frittatina con una salsa (?) sempre al sapore del fungo pleutorus, MEZZA fetta di salame, MEZZA fetta di provola. (Presentato il tutto come degustazione locale. Ancora mi chiedo di cosa. Forse fungo?)
Primo: tagliatelle al pleurotus (PIENE di aglio) oppure pasta con ragù di salsiccia. Sapore casareccio.
Secondo: costine di maiale (buone) e salsiccia (assaggiata ma aveva un retrogusto come di carne quasi “stantia”, tipica della salsiccia non fresca o conservata male) con due fili di rucola.
Dolce: panna cotta (meno che discreta)
Allora sommariamente il tutto non è stato pessimo qualitativamente, ma i piatti presentati sono stati a mio parere approssimati e superficialmente preparati. Con lo stesso prezzo, ci sono ristoranti che sanno cosa offrire nel menù fisso nel rapporto qualità/prezzo: in questo caso se questa conoscenza non c’è, meglio evitare.
Inoltre il locale non è molto curato: siamo usciti con puzza di cotto addosso.
