05/02/2025: Each dish represents the place well, the "Madonita" cuisine made of typical products such as mushrooms, cheeses, suckling pig, are brought to the plate and elaborated in an innovative way with elegance without betraying the full and true taste of the products themselves
An excellent cuisine to my taste, for the dessert I will have to return.... except for the "Turk's head" (typical Castebuonese dessert) there wasn't much left
Welcoming and pleasant dining room staff
Negative note is represented by the little space for movement and on the table....
Clean and comfortable facilities
Quality and price are balanced
17/01/2025: Ritornerò sicuramente con la mia famiglia! Mi trovavo a castelbuono con un collega per lavoro e mi hanno consigliato questo ristorante! Qualità del cibo ottima, servizio eccellente, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

04/01/2025: What a great find in this gem of a mountain village. They opened a bit early just to serve us (it was about 12 noon and a couple of other places emphatically open at 12:30). My panini was freshly made, friends had burgers and bruschetta - all the food was delicious.
Service was friendly and very accommodating- especially as our Italian was a bit broken. Best of all a decent coffee which is sometimes hard for an Australian taste.
Absolutely loved the groovy, hipster vibe (we were in our 60s). A wonderful experience 😊
29/12/2024: A truly delicious lunch in the heart of Castelbuono. The dishes are delicious, the quality of the products unquestionable. However, what really makes the difference is the staff with their smiles and kindness. And you pay very little too!! I would have given 10 stars because those who know how to work really deserve top marks.

26/01/2025: During our stay in Castelbuono we tried this pizzeria. Excellent pizza and wide choice. Excellent service. We returned the next day despite the wait, because unfortunately we had not booked, because we were satisfied. Absolutely worth trying!!

04/01/2025: Menu fisso 27 a persona: con acqua, coperto, amaro e caffè, 30 a coppia circa.
Antipasto: funghi pleurotus serviti e conditi in modo poco gradevole e stuzzicante. Lo stesso fungo presentato in 4 varianti molto simili di sapore e una piccola frittatina con una salsa (?) sempre al sapore del fungo pleutorus, MEZZA fetta di salame, MEZZA fetta di provola. (Presentato il tutto come degustazione locale. Ancora mi chiedo di cosa. Forse fungo?)
Primo: tagliatelle al pleurotus (PIENE di aglio) oppure pasta con ragù di salsiccia. Sapore casareccio.
Secondo: costine di maiale (buone) e salsiccia (assaggiata ma aveva un retrogusto come di carne quasi “stantia”, tipica della salsiccia non fresca o conservata male) con due fili di rucola.
Dolce: panna cotta (meno che discreta)
Allora sommariamente il tutto non è stato pessimo qualitativamente, ma i piatti presentati sono stati a mio parere approssimati e superficialmente preparati. Con lo stesso prezzo, ci sono ristoranti che sanno cosa offrire nel menù fisso nel rapporto qualità/prezzo: in questo caso se questa conoscenza non c’è, meglio evitare.
Inoltre il locale non è molto curato: siamo usciti con puzza di cotto addosso.
24/11/2024: Non andate a mangiare in questo locale , prima di tutto entrando ho notato che non era molto pulito , dopo aver ordinato mi accorgo che nei muri camminavano dei piccoli scarafaggi visti tre con i miei occhi , chiedo al cameriere di farmi sedere fuori , e così ho fatto ma non sono stata tranquilla ho assaggiato un po’ di salsiccia,perché sconcerta , patate bruciate fuori e crude dentro , carne di maiale cruda e dura come un legno , locale da chiudere e fare controllo nas
