08/06/2025: Hermoso establecimiento. Hermosa pastelería. Lástima que el personal amontonó todo el mazapán encima de la bandeja llena de pasteles hermosos caros que traje en la bolsa para que fueran destruidos. Tristes como se veían hermosos, pero era una bandeja de desorden aplastado. Ahora al personal. TOTALMENTE DECEPCIONANTE. Rude y yo podemos hablar un poco de italiano, pero para ser burlados por las dos mujeres detrás del mostrador por una ligera mala pronunciación. Inaceptable y fuera de lugar para los turistas. Soy jefe de cocina y he trabajado en hostelería durante años, es una pena que el personal defraudara este establecimiento.

06/08/2025: The wait was very long, and is still going on. We asked for a table for seven at 10 pm, with the front desk promising that if we'd waited, we'd get it sooner. However, number seven seems to be quite unlucky for them. In fact, several people who arrived after us (groups of two, four, five, six, and eight) were given priority over us.

My boyfriend and I had lasagna, pasta carbonara, and pizza – and I have to say: Opinions are divided here. You can choose between the hustle and bustle up in Taormina, where the narrow streets are packed with people, or here – a bit quieter, with cars nearby, but with much more space, a pleasant atmosphere, and a view of the lively hustle and bustle after a visit to Isola Bella.
The restaurant is family-run, with warm service, attentive staff, and a genuine passion for cooking. All three dishes were perfectly seasoned: magnificently seasoned, harmonious in flavors, with no added seasoning – simply delicious!
The value for money is also particularly noteworthy: you really get a lot for the quality of the food, the portion size, and the service.
If you're looking for an authentic culinary experience away from the tourist crowds, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

24/07/2025: Spectacular experience. The pasta was delicious, perfectly al dente and full of flavor. We ordered the house wine and it was a pleasant surprise, very good. The atmosphere was super pleasant, very relaxed considering the craziness that is Taormina in the summer, and the service was very attentive. Without a doubt, one of the highlights of the visit. Highly recommended!

18/07/2025: One of our favourite spots in Taormina. The staff were warm and welcoming, the bruschetta were the best we had anywhere in Sicily, and the spicy margs were spot on! It’s a great people watching spot and open later than many places in the town. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit!

25/06/2025: We were greeted by a very helpful and friendly gentleman at Reception who automatically gave us a map of the area and circled various places of interest. He wrote down times of opening/closing and costs. Unfortunately, we were given a room in a separate part of main Hotel where we had to take the lift to the 5th flr . Come out onto the rooftop walk down a metal staircase and then we were faced with exactly 💯 stairs to climb to our room (each way!!!) Considering our ages my partner being 71 and awaiting a knee replacement. I was a little shocked to say the least. When we got to our (very basic but clean) room, there were no tea/coffee facilities, no mini fridge and the shower was not a walk in one but one where you had to climb into a bath. Which wasn't easy for my partner. When I questioned re: fridge i was told they had been taken out of all the rooms this year!! Not good in 36-38 deg temps
On a plus the views were amazing and all staff friendly and helpful(although no other rooms were available). Struggled and had to plan every day as we were climbing approx. 600 steps per day as well as all the walking we did
18/06/2025: Unfortunately, you're only paying for the location here. The hotel itself is dated, but the rooms are clean. The breakfast starts to get old after the first day; it was nothing special, unfortunately. You can either spend more money in Taormina for one of the higher-quality accommodations, or look for somewhere outside the city and drive there for a day. Restaurants nearby are also quite expensive, whereas you can find cheaper options in Taormina itself.
