04/10/2025: We stopped here for a sweet break. We tried the classic cannoli, and the wafer is strictly homemade: super ricotta.
My daughter also had two mini cannoli: one pistachio and one chocolate.
A huge variety of almond paste "fruttini" (little fruits).
Highly recommended!
01/10/2025: We ordered a large pistachio cannoli. The staff at the shop were very kind. We asked for a knife to share it, and she split it herself. It was so good I forgot to take a picture. There's a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and traditional products.

04/10/2025: You should definitely come here if you are in Taormina. Excellent espresso coffee and very polite personnel.. don't forget to taste cannoli pistacchio, simply the best you can try!

03/11/2025: Favorite cannolo in Taormina. The gelato was also tasty, we had the Sicilian flavor. The staff is friendly and speaks english, making it easy for a tourist to order. All the baked goods looked amazing too but we didn’t end up trying those

23/10/2025: The most affordable food and yes super delicious the people are also very warm we found in Sicilië. We found it after try some others restaurant in the center of Taormina but after we know this Cafe we went there almost everyday. They have a lot of menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ordered gelato but was not ready and they offer us with Granita it is like Sorbet but wow so delicious I tried Pistache and strawberry. The Lemon cake is also super tasty. Arancini and Pistache Croissant 🥐 are my regular 🩷. Very recommended place .

07/11/2025: This is a gem of a place on the Main Street in Taormina. Lovely cozy bar atmosphere, with great ambient music. We went on a rainy evening and it was the perfect place to escape the weather. They offer a wonderful selection of cocktails, and light food. We were six people, and had 2 very nicely arranged cheese and charcuterie platters, and two pizzas, and the portions were generous enough that we had enough food for dinner. The wait staff were friendly and anxious to please. We would definitely recommend.
05/11/2025: Fine for a quick high priced drink, but the bartender special cocktail was overly sweet and they served prosecco in a regular wine glass than a sparkling wine glass. They never checked on us once.

05/10/2025: Heard about this place so went to check it out while in Taormina. Was really disappointed by hospitality of the staff and the quality of the food.
05/10/2025: It used to be such a nice place - not anymore! The lady was very rude and started shouting that we wanted to sit at an empty table without asking. Also, they used to serve very nice limoncello spritz but now they refused to serve drinks only. It all could have been explained in a nice way but being rude is unacceptable.
Reply to the owners reply - that’s how it should have been sorted but sadly it wasn’t - we have not encountered more rude service in the whole of Sicily. We tried to be friendly and polite but the first words we heard from her were: No! Leave now! If you don’t like tourists, don’t be in this business.

11/10/2025: Arrogant waiter, mediocre food, higher prices.
26/09/2025: We ordered take-away on two occasions. The food was ready quickly, packed up nicely, and tasted great. Plenty of people seemed to be enjoying their meal in the restaurant as well. It felt like it was family owned and that they aimed to please their customers.

22/10/2025: A three-star hotel is a three-star hotel. And you need to be aware of that when choosing one. I rate it very highly in the three-star category because:
1. It's superbly located.
2. Room 811 was very spacious and had a large terrace.
3. It was very clean, and the housekeeping service was excellent and daily (even though it was off-season in October).
4. The service was professional (reception, restaurant).
Period. And if someone arrives with typical "all-inclusive" expectations and has no understanding of the unique culture and attitudes of Sicilians, they'll always find something to complain about.
21/10/2025: The glory days are over. The single room can be accessed in two steps. The bathroom entrance is so narrow that some people might have trouble fitting through – it's closed with a folding accordion. Clean, with daily housekeeping.
The upper building is accessible only by stairs – with a heavy suitcase, it's a challenge.
Breakfast is monotonous, the same all week, with a large selection of sweets. For dinner, there are three options to choose from for a starter and a main course. Dessert was a surprise. Everything was delicious and efficiently served. Drinks with dinner are available for an additional fee.
The staff is very helpful. The reception is open 24 hours a day. I speak fluent English and German.
Unfortunately, renovations were taking place in my building at the end of October, so afternoons in the room were not very pleasant.
Internet is ONLY available at the reception and bar. There is no paid Wi-Fi access.

24/04/2025: Horrible, je ne recommande pas, j'ai reçu un pain avec une vieille tranche de jambon et de de salade. La photo sur le menu n'a rien à voir avec la réalité. Très déçu.
