30/09/2025: We stopped by here today for a spontaneous dinner.
At first, we were a bit skeptical, but seeing that it was only locals, we thought it must be good.
We started by ordering two sandwiches. One with anchovies and one with tuna and salami. Both were delicious! First, the lady of the house brought us something to try: Sicilian chickpea pancakes. A specialty that really comes from here. Very, very tasty. All the locals got paninis topped with these rectangular pancakes.
Then the chef asked us if we wanted to try the aranchinis, and we said yes.
They were incredibly delicious. Freshly made, filled with lots of cheese and ham. Really, really good. And only €2.50.
Finally, the chef asked us if we wanted to try a typical dessert. We did. It was getting hard to find room in our stomachs, but we couldn't turn down such a friendly offer.
There were dumplings with a delicious ricotta filling, sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
For us, it was a wonderful culinary journey through Sicilian specialties. Including a drink, we ended up paying an unbeatable €15.
We wholeheartedly recommend it and would gladly return.

18/10/2025: The food, atmosphere, and service were great. Unfortunately when we sat outside to eat, there were so many flies, landing all over our bodies and food as we ate it was extremely unpleasant. There were so many flies on other customers as well. As a result if you want to eat here, I recommend you eat inside.
15/10/2025: During our lunch in Sciacca's historic center, we enjoyed excellent busiate pasta with octopus ragù and a truly flavorful calamarata with scorpion fish. The dishes were well-prepared and made with quality ingredients. We were a bit disappointed with the mixed fried fish, which lacked any real fish and wasn't up to par with the rest.
The service was friendly and welcoming, and the location, located in Piazza Duomo, is truly central and charming. Overall, a pleasant experience, with good food and a lively atmosphere in the heart of the city.

21/08/2025: I've never been to this place before; I went for the first time yesterday for my brother's birthday. I was enchanted by the place and the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. Delicious pizzas and excellent service!! Plus, they have disabled access to the pool, something almost no one else has. I'll definitely be back, and kudos to those who run it.

24/09/2024: Ein sehr nettes Café im Zentrum von Sciacca. Der Besuch hierhin ist zu 100 Prozent empfehlenswert, die Cassata, Cannoli und Gebäcke sind super lecker. Hier merkt man den Unterschied zu industriellen Ware extrem. Alles ist aus eigener Produktion und selbst hergestellt. Nur die besten Zutaten werden hier verwendet. Der Besitzer ist unheimlich nett. Wir hatten nette Gespräche und wurden sogar einigen seiner Freunde vorgestellt. Bravo, weiter so!

27/12/2024: il luogo si presenta in maniera estremamente affascinante e lussuriosa, tranne per la pavimentazione che richiede un lavaggio più frequente. Essendo stati collocati nella cripta il servizio non si è rivelato nella sua massima efficienza, il personale si è presentato poco attento alle esigenze dei commensali, in particolare nella nostra cripta, che ci ha estraneati dal mondo e dai nostri ordini. Portate nella media, il riso acido, troppo aceto di mele. Passiamo alla chicca del ristorante, le salviettine rinfrescanti al limone, packaging classy, nero con rifiniture in oro, nonostante l’apertura irregolare che porta ad avere uno strappo non omogeneo, si sono rivelate di ottima qualità, con il loro odore di coccolino. voto finale mio e dei miei compari, colleghi, compagni di marketing è……………………………………………………………………..3 stelle su 5!

13/04/2025: We had an extremely disappointing visit. The manager, Sajo, was completely unprofessional — he didn’t listen to our concerns or make any effort to address them. Monica at the reception was equally unhelpful and rude.
If you're planning to visit with a large group, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. We had to wait over 40 minutes just to get one additional chair, even though we had already paid in full for everyone.
The service was chaotic. They brought us toilet paper instead of proper napkins, and the food took ages to arrive. We even had to clear our own plates at times because no staff were available.
The only reason I’m giving this place one star is because the pricing was decent. But honestly, it’s not worth the money. There are plenty of better places that actually care about their customers.
