You don't just go to Poppy's for pizza; it's a truly extraordinary culinary experience, one of those unforgettable ones. The attention to detail is absolute, the flavors are unique, and the products have a quality that can't be explained in words. As if that weren't enough, the staff is wonderful, the place is very cute and well-kept; it's impossible to find a flaw. ❤️
19/01/2026: Gambero Rosso 2-slice pizzeria. Very friendly staff, with a helpful and courteous waitress.
There were four of us and we ordered four pizzas (truffle, San Salvatore, cinghialotta, vegan), one buffalo burrata, four beers, three desserts (one Atto Secondo Mango and two Como una Cuba), two rum shots, one still water, and one coffee.
Bill: €136.20 (€34 each).
Atto Secondo Mango: White chocolate egg with mango filling.
Como una Cuba: Chocolate cigar, coated in bitter cocoa and filled with tiramisu cream. It arrives at the table under a smoked glass dome, accompanied by a rum shot. Dipping it in rum faithfully reproduces the experience of a real cigar.
Special mention for the truffle and the Como una Cuba.
Passed.

25/06/2026: As soon as I landed in Carloforte, just looking at those splendid gelato cakes in the window, I said: I absolutely cannot leave without trying the gelato from this gelateria... And I was right. A true delight! I'm not a gelato fan, but the flavored cone the owner recommended to me literally won me over!!! I could have ordered 10 more! Truly, congratulations for all the dedication and love you put into making your top-quality products available to your customers.

17/04/2026: I ordered three pizzas for home delivery at 9:30 PM. They arrived at 10:10 PM. Around 9:50 PM, I called for more information, and a girl answered, telling me to go get them myself or even go to another pizzeria, when a simple apology would have sufficed. It's a shame because the pizzas were really good.

01/05/2026: There were 7 of us, the first courses were good (fregola alla pescataria and culurgiones), but the tuna steak was awful (thin as a slice of cheese and cooked really badly...), the octopus salad was decent, but... with a bit of sand inside.
29/04/2026: Small restaurant a few steps from the Iglesias station. Excellent and plentiful food, beautiful interior location, kind and helpful staff. Really short wait times. In short, you have to come back to try other dishes 😄😄
