02/03/2025: On Saturday 1 March at lunchtime, a colleague of mine and I decide to have lunch at the "Masseria del Sale" farmhouse restaurant in Manduria, a place that promises a high-level culinary experience in a rustic and evocative atmosphere. The part relating to the restaurant is well renovated, with star vaults and the presence of fireplaces. Tables and chairs have small deficiencies (some dirty seats); unkept parking; large table in a nave with kitchen utensils in evidence. The service is of good evidence, with attentive, courteous staff always available to satisfy every request. Let me start by saying that there were no other tables occupied and there was only one waiter serving. As for the food, the quality is unquestionable even if some dishes are better prepared than others, both in terms of flavors and presentation. I personally particularly enjoyed the artichoke appetizer. The dessert was normal and without great pretensions. However, there is one aspect that left me perplexed and which, unfortunately, clouded the overall experience: the price. The final bill was decidedly exaggerated compared to what was served. Despite the quality of the food and service, the prices are out of the market and not justified compared to the dishes. I expected a more balanced quality-price ratio, and although I understand the increase in the prices of raw materials and the maintenance of the structure, it is not possible to offer such an exaggerated final cost. This is not a starred restaurant. In conclusion, "La Masseria del Sale" offers an experience not worthy of full evaluation and the high price makes it difficult to justify a return or an unreserved recommendation. I would recommend this restaurant only to those willing to spend a lot without evaluating the quality/price ratio. Certainly there is an awareness that the perceived value is not entirely in line with the cost incurred. I highlight that my review is in line with many others. I suggest, given the potential of the structure, to reevaluate the cost or, if left unchanged, to provide an Experience worthy of what is requested. Rating: 3.5/5 (due to excessive prices and an offline experience)

28/02/2025: We went there several times and ate very well and everything was very fresh and the service was very good.

02/02/2025: Nice characteristic place in the historic center of Manduria. Large, warm, welcoming, bright and comfortable environment. We had lunch in this place recommended to us by local friends and we really liked the traditional home cooking with truly generous portions where obviously the typical primitive wine could not be missing. We will definitely return. If you find yourself in those parts, don't hesitate to stop in this place to enjoy their dishes cooked with passion and professionalism, all at a more than reasonable cost, which is an added value.

20/09/2024: Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorantino alla periferia del paese. L'arredamento del locale è semplice ma elegante e ordinato. Il servizio è cortese e attento. Il vero punto di forza è il menù, i piatti sono davvero speciali, gli abbinamenti sono vincenti e mai banali e sono preparati e presentati con maestria. Un po' alto il conto, ma non esagerato.

13/01/2025: I have been to many corners of the planet, some truly exotic, others very far from us, and yet it is in Manduria that, for the first time in my life, I was served... by a robot! Well yes, in this pizzeria the staff is not only made up of waiters and pizza chefs but also of a couple of friendly robots who bring drinks and dishes to the table. Modest prices, fairly good pizzas (specifically, absolutely not Neapolitan style, the pizza dough is quite crunchy).
