15/04/2026: A quick appetizer and first course while waiting for a late train. A welcoming and clean place, excellent service and, of course, the food. Not cheap, but worth the money (and if I'd wanted to save money, I would have gotten a sandwich at the bar).

28/03/2026: Excellence is the term that sums up the standard at Corte Maria. Refined, delicious, gourmet cuisine—but be careful, it's not the infamous gourmet cuisine that often involves paltry quantities, quite the opposite. The chef wants you to enjoy his refined art until you're completely satisfied. As for service, anyone expecting waiters to simply wait tables will be in for a pleasant surprise. They'll find young men and women who take care of the guests. Not a single request goes unheard, the utmost attention to detail (perfection lies in the details), the most elegant consideration for each individual diner, and with more than 30 people at the table, that's not a given. Professionalism plays a role, of course, but I believe they have the "extravagance" of being respectable people, kind by nature, not by obligation. Thank you to all the staff at Corte Maria for making a special day a memorable one.
