27/03/2024: Nice and welcoming place, service perceived as a little pressing by me and my friends (we had the impression that they wanted to rush us), but still pleasant and the staff is kind and smiling.
As for the food, I ate a strawberry and Nutella crepe and it was good, but I also had positive feedback from the vegetarian sandwich and the hot chocolate.
A note I have to make is on the drink I took, however, it arrived totally different from the photo on the menu, it was still good but it was a bit of a disappointment visually.

27/03/2024: We often go for lunch there. During the week there is a fixed price menu.
They offer quite a few first, second and side dishes. The quarter of wine is included as well as water and coffee.
Helpful staff and the owners are great. Mega compliments to the chef!
I don't recommend any dish because it would be too many since we still haven't been able to find a dish we don't like!
Excellent quality/price.
In the evening it is necessary to book.

31/03/2024: We went for dinner with friends, for parking we went on a side road in the railway area because the restaurant is located on a high road and there are not many parking spaces.
The interior is very bright and the tables are well spaced from each other.
The pizza was Neapolitan-style with a little crust; at least mine, underneath the edge, was toasted and although good I didn't find it particular.
In the group we also had a small child and they have child seats available, in his case he was asked for ham but unfortunately they couldn't bring it because it arrived already cut into strips and so they opted for meatballs with sauce.
The prices are average also considering that we are in Novara, however, I would have preferred the napkin and a cloth placemat instead of the paper placemat.
20/03/2024: Place located near the train station, in a non-central area. Fairly large room, with wood-burning oven.
The pizzas are appreciable (we ordered a Margherita and a Cosacca), a cross between the "rota e cart" and the pizza with a canotto crust. The dough proved to be light and digestible, the ingredients of good quality. A pizza, overall, aligned with the standards of true Neapolitan pizza, above the average of many chain pizzas. The service was quite quick and courteous. The cost is more than reasonable.

05/05/2024: The food was not good. Only thing that was good; water and wine. Service are not very attentive.
04/05/2024: Unfortunately I wasn't able to have lunch or dinner in the only restaurant on the island of San Giulio but upon entering the bar to purchase a couple of mineral waters, the beautiful and attentive lady at the bar counter allowed me to visit the part of the restaurant with lake view: "the terrace on the lake" and briefly explained to me how the dinners "work"!
There are three "pick-ups" (to use the word she used): at 7.30pm, 8.00pm and 8.30pm from the Orta pier which are none other than the departures of the private boat service that takes customers directly to the restaurant. Evening reservations: for dinner, are essentially based on availability at these three times.
Finding myself sitting on a bench in the square of Orta right in front of the island on Saturday evening, I could see the comings and goings of the boat bringing the diners of the restaurant back to dry land!
PS
From what I could see the position of the terrace is not strictly in front of Orta, in short the view you can enjoy is more towards the open lake, towards Gozzano, if I'm not mistaken, BUT this does not mean that dining there in the evening must be extremely suggestive and romantic!

05/04/2024: The pizza is good, it's a shame they raised the prices... and if you get to the checkout and are told that the POS isn't working, and you're forced to go and collect on purpose... no thanks.

17/03/2024: Locale caldo ed accogliente.un po fastidioso l'ingresso con odore di sigaretta. Piatto di formaggi misti nella norma con marmellate . Quella di cipolla di tropea una bomba le altre due scarse. Tortellini di magro al burro e salvia e nocetta di maiale con speck e aceto balsamico discreti ma nulla di eccezionale. Prezzi un po cari.

27/03/2024: Very nice place, very good cocktails and appetizers, we were there last Friday and a jazz trio was playing with a very good singer and pianist, congratulations, we had a very good time!
19/03/2024: I must say that the location is truly wonderful, we drank a good aperitif but at the price of €9 per glass I would have expected at least 2 chips.
Instead, nothing and this made me lower my rating.
Really slow service I understand that there were only 2 guys but for what the stuff costs they could have put 1 other person to serve
