Osteria del Vergante In Invorio

So, we came here for lunch today on our way back from the sanctuary in Boca. We stopped with a very young child and were pampered from start to finish! The lunch menu is very simple but effective. I was afraid the minestrone would be even hotter, but it was served warm and incredibly aromatic: it was also perfect for a few bites for my little girl who recently started weaning. The atmosphere is airy and the tables aren't crowded together, which I really appreciate during this time. There's a convenient changing table in the bathroom! The dishes are simple and tasty, the portions just right... maybe it's breastfeeding, but I would have eaten double the amount 😅 The desserts, in my opinion, are the real highlight; the tarte tatin was out of this world. I truly thank everyone for their courtesy and kindness. I even saw out of the corner of my eye how regular customers are treated and greeted, and when you see how people behave in these situations, you can truly understand the value of a place. The quality/price ratio is more than excellent. We'll definitely keep that in mind for the future! P.S. I recommend having a fan in the dining room, as in this heat, unfortunately, the air isn't always enough, especially when the dining room is full.

A Saturday lunch with coworkers. I'll start by saying that the place is truly well-kept and clean, from the dining room to the outdoor terrace. We didn't book (our mistake, we weren't expecting so many people), but the manager, who I believe is also the owner, was extremely kind and asked us to wait 15 minutes and found us a table. The wait was worth it; the lunch of the day was truly delicious, with homemade dishes and coffee from the moka pot. Compared to what you'll find in the area, this is truly a top-notch Osteria, with a fair price/quality ratio. We'll be back to try the à la carte dishes, which already looked very inviting! I highly recommend them.

When we went to eat, the restaurant was full. I think the three waiters were overwhelmed. The service was slow; they even forgot to take our order. We arrived at 12:30 and left at 2:30 for a risotto, a dessert, and a bottle of water. What a shame...

Very good food. The atmosphere is simple but elegant, though a bit cold for my taste. A little background music would have been nice (I think there was music, but it was really too low, almost inaudible, so I don't remember exactly). The staff was professional but aloof and unwelcoming. Nothing to criticize severely, but there's room for improvement... like everything else!

We had a great time on this last visit as well. The food is always top-notch, even for the lunchtime specials. Reservations are always recommended. The establishment is small, well-organized, and well-managed. Thank you.

Saturday night dinner. Nice atmosphere with a fireplace, not too crowded. Traditional dishes, both meat and fish, very good. Dogs welcome.

The coffee made with a moka pot is a nice place. It surprised me very positively.
